My highlight of the day was to see my Grooms emotions at the end of the isle - it took my breath away to see him like that! Also the moment we took to ourselves away from everyone. We walked back to the chapel and reflected back on everything for a brief moment, my husband even snapped a sneaky pick of me - this was such a special time for us -
We went on the most sensational Honeymoon to Phinda Private Game reserve. We stayed at Zuka Lodge and got spoilt way beyond we ever expected. We then went onto Sodwana to watch a leather back turtle lay its eggs on the beach - a trip worth memories to last a lifetime
My dress was everything and more, made by the incredible Julia Ferrandi in ballito - she took my idea of wanting something wow and geometric to the next level!!! It was phenomenal and so comfortable - I was in dress from 4am in the morning until my husband and I closed the farm gates at 7:30pm that night - I dont think any bride has ever got such good use out of their dresses
We got married at a farm in Eston which is halfway between Durban and Pmb. The venue Sweethome is absolute perfection and Derek the owner is the biggest help and a breath of fresh air to deal with, we will recommend Sweethome over and over again - the venue was perfect in every way and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better place.
I am a plain jane when it comes to a beauty regime - but the one thing I did want for our special day was to be in shape! So thanks to Hamiltons health and fitness in this regard for making me feel on top of the world for this special day. Lillian got me to my goal weight and oh so toned - I can’t thank her enough for the motivation throughout and I Seriously recommend brides to go to her, there is no better gym to get you looking and feeling great than Hamiltons (believe me I’ve tried them all)
The Groom found his unique color suit at woolies and then got it altered as they wanted the modern bare ankle look - the Groomsmen found their suits at Edgar's; they were the perfect color to match the bridesmaids
My beautiful bridesmaids wore exquisite and super comfortable jumpsuits made by the best in the business Kathrin Kidger (Durban Based Designer) she got the color shades perfect and the style was ideal for our geometric theme. It was very important for my girls to be confident and comfortable as two of the three were expecting.
Our officiant and pastor was my Husbands uncle - this was an extremely important part for us and it was so special to have uncle D marry us
Conway Photo and Film - all we can say is wow!!! They were beyond phenomenal and capturing our day they did so perfectly without missing a moment. They literally blew us away from the engagement shoot to the very last shot on our wedding day. Not only that we had our online album of photos only 2 days after we said our I do’s which is literally un heard of in the wedding industry - so again!!! We would ONLY recommend Conway to future brides they are THE BEST

Margie from The Fat Aubergine did all our food for our breakfast wedding - she did an amazing job and all the food was so tasty and perfect. We had brekkie canapés which were then followed by an insane breakfast harvest table which had every element of breakfast you can imagine - there was endless amounts of food and people could keep going back as they pleased, which was exactly the chilled vibe we wanted. Margie is phenomenal
I designed and printed all stationery myself - again it’s something I really enjoy doing, it gets my creative juices flowing
We had a brilliant live band by the name of Angus. They are a group of 2 brothers and a sister who are just out of this world talented - we danced all morning and didn’t want them to leave!! Again we recommend them to everyone not only for weddings but any function - they really are fantastic and they were another highlight of our day
