Besides the day starting off great with a rugby world cup win for the Springboks, some highlights include the fun we - as well as all of our guests had having our likeness drawn by our caricature artist (Martinus Van Tee). I knew this would be a hit with the guests and I've always wanted this as part of my entertainment hence Martinus was the first service provider I booked, even before we decided on a venue! Another highlight was having all of our guests join us on the dancefloor for one of our favourite songs "Never too much" by Luther Vandross. This was sung by my cousin in law and was so special.

This is no doubt important, and shouldn't be overlooked. My regime consisted of an element of each of these: the months prior I engaged in some exercise that targeted my arms, mid-section & hips, I also did some yoga to help alleviate the tension build-up. I also regularly did activated charcoal facial masks as well as a few laser treatments for some facial hair. No, we did not take any dance lessons, we didn't think we needed it (wink) but more importantly we did not want to add any pressure to our special day by putting on an elaborate dance - we chose rather to be in that once in a lifetime moment with each other simply feeling the music and revelling in the moment.
