The best part of our day was fulfilling our dream come true, in finally joining in union with our soul mate, which is Each other. (We also WON the Rugby world cup 2019 hosted in Japan !!!!! I managed to watch the game AND still be on time)
We were blessed to have the honour of celebrating our union in the house of the Lord and in front of our dear family, friends and colleagues. Both my parents have passed on, but I have been blessed with thee most amazing sisters, who really stepped up and played their part in many aspects for their new Boetie and sister. We are also blessed to have my husbands parents and brothers support us and they had also added to our special day in massive ways. WE ARE SO BLESSED !!
We were unable to go on honeymoon due to it being a critical time of year, in both our jobs. We also do not have the financial means to go on a honeymoon. So we are planning on saving up, to hopefully go next year May - June. We did request for cash gifts at our wedding reception, however that needed to be utilised for other costs pertaining to the wedding.

my hair and nails was done by close friends whom own their own beauty and hair salon in Kenmare, Krugersdorp. Bonita Swanepoel and Alicia Van der Merwe.
My dress was purchased from Bride & Co
My shoes was purchased on line from superbalist, and I bought a lace material to stick on them.
We got married in the Horizon Methodist church and our reception was held at the Masonic Center.
Guests didn't need to sleep over as it was in close range for most guests.
We only went on leave 1 day before our wedding, we both felt it was best to keep busy and keep our minds occupied with work. We both were not stressed out at all as all the hard planning and stress happened in the previous month leading up to our big day.
my mother-in law and father-in law did the whole décor and set-up of the hall. The colour theme was orange and green, as my favourite colour is orange and my husbands favourite colour is green.

he kept our guests entertained with fun activities and games, he was our MC at the reception.
