We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. We got married on the 9th of November. I can truly say the view and beautiful weather at Duvon Estate in Robertson certainly counted in our favor. The farm overlooks vineyards and there is a small chapel where we made our promises to one another. A special touch was that we wrote our vows on letters that were handed to us by a member of the wedding party shortly before the ceremony began.
On our wedding day I wore my mother’s veil this formed part of my "something old". "The veil fits my dress perfectly and it is such a great privilege to have something from my mother my wedding day with me!" - Judy. The engagement ring I wore was made at Uwe Kutter Jewelers, the same shop in Cape Town where her mother, Susan, had her own engagement ring designed. The strawberry jam that we gave as guest gifts was cooked by Raymond's grandmother, Joy. She was a professional cook on her day and lives on a strawberry farm in Stellenbosch. The cake knife that was used as Judy's "something borrowed" is also form a family member.
We went to Thailand for honeymoon and visited Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi.
Tying the Knot Bridal did a great job in making me feel special. I wore a Enzoani designer dress.

Guests stayed on the farm and surrounds.
I went for a natural look on my wedding and even wore flat shoes. I kept my normal beauty routine. It is important to wash your face and apply moisturizer before bed every night.
I wanted a relaxed vibe and the flowers and table decor needed to match that. I went for pink proteas and succulents and greenery which is still my favorite plants.
The Groom and groomsmen wore suits form Mr Suit Hire.
The Bridesmaids wore custom made dresses form Gelique.
My uncle who is a minister and knows us personally performed the ceremony. He also asked us to write a short few sentences about why we would like to marry each other which was incorporated into the sermon.

Boland Weddings captured our day. One of my fiend's knows the owner personally and referred us. The team felt like friends on the day, thus we were very comfortable with them. They did a phenomenal job!

The wedding cake was made by De Zoete Inval (Charmaine) and the food was made by the venue caterers.
As a marketing coordinator and graphic designer myself, I created all the needed stationary. I also made a special booklet for the day.
