they say this is supposed to be your perfect day, so when I had spent many mornings in traffic day dreaming about the outcomes of the day, I never imagined that we would be blessed with my day dream come true,
the air , the smell, the slight breeze that moved through the trees, the way the sun fell in just the right way over us. it was perfect.
it is very difficult to capture my favourite moments, when we had a weekend wedding and our festivities started the Friday evening , Saturday morning some of us joined together for a trail run, then breakfast then I was kidnapped for the painting to commence :)
the ceremony, the live music, my best friend, now husband :) the promises we made and we danced until the DJ needed to go home. then proceeded wedding dress and all, to start another bonfire to party until early hours of the morning
next morning we had breakfast with 75 of our guests and cut the wedding cake...
the rest is history
a wedding like no other.. simple and real
West coast is very dear to our hearts, here we spent a few days at the sea. Kersbos will definitely see us again

it is a beautiful venue in the mountains and can accommodate 120 people for the whole weekend !
best part of this venue, NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION so everyone is forced to talk to each other for a change

My husband calls it ''one pot cooking'', as Kliplapa does everything for you - - food , décor, etc , all you need to do is pitch up with your outfit.

my mom and I spent a day at the spa 2 weeks before the wedding - BAKWENA , ZEVENWACHT
and being a fitness junkie I kind of just stepped up my game and followed a little more strict training programme 8weeks before the time.
Anel from Crei designs understood our picture, we kept is very local as my husband and I love to travel and discover our local towns and the karoo area
with the décor that's what we kept, natural wood, all greens and minimal ''out there'' décor , because neither him or I are like that
the Lapa was done up with lights, home made candles and greenery

Being in Robertson Area, we decided to keep all the service providers local,
Anthony (Tony Ross Photography) is such a nice guy! he did what we asked and my husband hates a camera, yet he got him to actually relax. we had so much fun , most of the photos I am laughing ! so that says enough
We wanted un edited, natural photos - and that's exactly what we got
and best of all is , we got it 3 weeks after our wedding !
Planner ! what's that ? hahaha
My other half and I did it , with a lot of help from excel and a budget!
No transport required.
The food was included in the package at Kliplapa
The wedding cake was a gift from my friend who attended the wedding
