The official ''I DO'' in the Chapel - saying our vows that we promise to live by each and everyday.
Memorable moments:
The feeling of having my bridesmaids by my side on the Wedding day from getting ready to walking down the isle....
The mix of emotions - happiness, love, excitement and nerves all at once.. It is the most beautiful feeling a girl will ever experience!
I felt so confident and so beautiful in my detailed, gorgeous dress by Misteeq Bridal, with my hair and make up done so perfectly by kandykanemakeup.
I was so overwhelmed with joy when my dad arrived to fetch me from the bridal suite ready to walk me down the aisle. My dad and I chatted all the way down the isle only to be interrupted by a beautiful white duck casually crossing the path as I was walking towards my husband who was waiting for me at the end of the isle.
We danced the night away with friends and family, singing along to the best old school music by DJ Nelo (Manuel) whilst sipping on a drink.
It gets even better... At midnight, we moved over to the bonfire where we continued to celebrate the night away - we did everything we could to allow the memories of this day last forever!
There is not one thing that Justin and I would change about our day.. It was perfect, just like our relationship with each other.
Justin and I went to Mauritius or our honeymoon - wow, we had the best time of our lives!
Usually, couples relax on honeymoon and recoup after the wedding hype but not Justin and I. We participated in every activity we could, we sipped on cocktails, swam, tanned and went out on the boat.
As usual, we wanted to make the best memories together!
Venue :
Justin and I chose a rustic venue with a touch of glam, the colour pallet would encompass the colours of the Protea, desert roses and the beautiful colours of the surrounding landscape of Cradle Valley.
Dresses:
For the beautiful bridesmaids I chose a soft blue chiffon dress which complemented their figures perfectly.
A fit and flare with the beautiful train was a given for me. The delicately beaded detail of the bodice made this dress even more striking and the scuba material fit my frame allowing for movement but still hugging and embracing my figure. I went for an off the shoulder neckline which was just perfect for my ballerina posture but something was missing... I wanted to be a princess too. So the idea of a tulle ball gown was suggested and just like that my dream of dancing in a ball gown for my first dance became a reality! For the dance, the train was lifted up under a petticoat and tulle skirt, a 2 in 1 dress was just perfect and I fell in love with my dress. @Misteeq_bridal - thank you for adding the perfect touch to my special day!
Hair & Make-up:
I loved the idea of having an elegant up style with a beautiful rose gold hair piece. Its not often that we choose to style our hair this way, and i wanted to show off all the bead work on my dress. Thank you to KandyKanemakeup for my gorgeous hair style! Lets not even get to my exquisite make up that complimented my blue eyes... Lets just say that us ladies are all into the perfect contouring and finding our best look... Kandykane sure has this to perfection!

We got married at Cradle Valley Guesthouse in Muldersdrift.
Having an Events background, this venue had ticked all the boxes! From friendly staff, through to the entire wedding planning process... This was the venue of our dreams!!
We had friends and family that stayed over at the wedding venue which is always a win, but it never ended there....
The staff at Cradle Valley were always around and always looking after the guests to ensure that they had a five star experience!

The Chapel:
We had a white carpet down the aisle, sadled by rose gold glass lanterns filled with candles.
The reception:
Proteas, Delphiniums, Anthiriums and succulent desert roses adorned the tables under rustic wooden beams and fairy lights created the perfect backdrop. We had rose gold candles scattered in between the eucalyptus, and of course the venue's crystal cutlery added the perfect touch!
Canapes:
While Justin and I were taking photos, we had a saxophonist playing beautiful music while the guests helped themselves to a gin at the gin bar, and some canapes served by the waiters.
Sweet table:
Everyone helped themselves to the candy table - not to mention that this sweet table was finished before starters were even served... Enough said!

My husband - Justin van Staden is an Industrial Designer who went into each and every single detail to make our day perfect!
Design and print of the invites:
We wanted to make it personal by doing things the old way.. Handing out the invites to every one of our guests
Design and hand made menu stands:
Rose gold menus placed on the table with the selection of the set menu hanging from it
Vows:
Our personal vows we wrote for each other, imprinted on perspex. We chose to say our own vows!
The guest book:
A long piece of dark wood, with our wedding logo placed in the center of the wood with space around the logo for all our guests to sign.
This list can go on... Each and every little detail was thought through by Justin and I!
