Our day reflected us as a couple every detail was personalized to what we love. After a year of planning our wedding leading up to the day I was really worried about the weather because our ceremony took place under the oak trees. We were so lucky it rain the day before and after our wedding and no on the day. What a huge blessing. It was really nice having all our family and friends celebrate with us.
Yes, we spent our honeymoon in Thailand.
My wedding look was all about less is more with a twist of sexy but still keeping it classy. It was really special wearing my mother's bracelet to add something old and a garter with blue stones. Making sure we had something old, new & blue in the mix. My hair & make-up reflected who I am very natural and easy going.

Our wedding palette were black, white, green & gold that matched the venue's rustic theme. We used white flowers with lots of greenery to give it a natural clean look. The tables were decorated with small glass vases, tea candle and black plates. We served a family style dinner and kept our decor to a minimal. We roof was decorated with naked bulbs and greenery.
The groom and groomsmen wore talior black tuxedos with bowties.
I wanted each braids maid to feel comfortable in what they wore. They had the opportunity to choose their own black dress with black heels.
PerfectBlue photography captured our special day, loved working with them and they did a got job of capturing us as a couple. We had a mobile VW photobooth to keep our guests entertained.
The venue prepared all the food. The canape's were served during cocktail hour. We served a plated salmon roulade and the main course was served family style to ensure everyone was served at the same time and to create a social atmosphere. The lovely cousin created the cheese table that was a big bit wit our guests. We served each course with a different wine to enhance the flavours of the food.
