I was “The Bipolar Bride” from the moment I woke up. I would be singing, dancing and smiling and then just burst into tears from shear excitement for getting to marry my best friend, the man who has stepped up to be a step father to my son, the man who saved me from myself and my past hurt. The moment when I walked down the aisle and I saw him mouthing the words “I love you” will forever be burnt into my memory .
We weren’t able to afford a big honeymoon but we made every day count. We went to Knysna and saw all the wildlife sanctuaries. The highlight was seeing my husband la face when he got to walk with, feed and touch the elephants and the elephant sanctuary. Something that has always been on his bucket list to fulfill the love he has for Elephants.
Dress was a ombré white into grey by Bridezilla. A dress that fit my personality to a “T”.

Jewelry was a heart pendant locket necklace with a photo of my late father and mother on their wedding day as something old.

The wedding was held at Lagoon Beach Hotel in Milnerton, Cape Town.
Some guests stayed over at the hotel with us.
