My Husband took me to Lagoon Beach Hotel in Milnerton,Cape Town.
It was exquisite ! We had a stunning room with a view of the infamous Table Mountain. We had an absolute blast. We lived like king and queen for a week!
Cape town was exceptional, we had the privilege to see numerous sites and attractions.
My wedding look was absolutely 'Cinderella' inspired.
My beautiful dress is a Helen Fontaine Ballgown (purchased at Chiqwawa Bridal House)
My makeup was done by the talented Donique Leonard from Flawless Professional Makeup by Donique. The makeup look was n soft smokey eye with gold lids , big lashes and ofcourse a wing liner.
My hair was a big bun ,it was amazingly transformed into flower looking swirls, it absolutely completed my whole look- It was a work of art. My hair was done by the amazingly talented Anika Lombard from Luxury Bridal Hair by Anika Lombard.
We got married at Batter Boys Village in Montana , Pretoria.
This venue surely marks all the boxes! It has beautiful gardens and landscaping, the hall has everything from accent walls to fairy lights, its so spacious!
The Chapel is breathtaking, it is on site and it has an amazingly 'homey' feeling.
The venue has a guesthiuse on site aswell and we had quite a few guest that stayed the night, and not one bad experience!
Overall the venue and guesthouse is extremely neat and clean, nothing is out dated, and the staff is exceptional!
My beauty regime has always been basic but thorough. I believe in a good
cleanse and moisturizer. I had a few different types and brands I used, but leading up to the wedding I stuck to one brand - the Clinique 3 step kit. I saw my skin really appreciated the 'one brand only' treatment , and my skin surely showed it.
I steered clear from popping any pimple no matter how tempting! I used a couple of sheet face masks leading up to the wedding also to make my skin glow and just look healthy.
I did exercise as many times as time allowed. Two to three times a week atleast, but short and powerfull exercises as time is always a factor. Healthy eating is also a big factor and helped alot. Green tea helped my metabolism and thus I drank it each morning.
Our decor was done by Melanie Kotze from Flower Genesis. She is an absolute angel! She understood my vision perfectly!
The table decor varied ,we had Chrystal Candelabras, with navy candles, we had mixed white flowers with greenery. We also had chrystal stands with a flower bush ontop, the table had a white damask tablecloth , with navy runners, navy napkins , sliver underplates, rhinestone napkin rings and various chrystal and silverware on the tables.
It was a 'sparkle-fest'.
I had 5 bridesmaids and they wore charcoal grey infinity dresses. The infinity dress really just suits any body type. They looked gorgeous

We were privileged to have had Chrystal de Witt from Chrystal de Witt Photography as our wedding Photographer.
She has a light, natural editing style -which we love. She enjoys herself throughout and really made me and my husband feel comfortable, she had us laughing most of the time! She captures the most precious moments.
For Videographer we had AC Film Productions. They are great at what the do! They captured moments that only a video can! They are a great team , extremely friendly and never made us feel awkward.
I planned our wedding myself. Batter Boys Village did provide a coordinator which I worked with throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding they lived up to expectations, everthing went smoothly with no hickups!
I had some time to make some of the stationary myself but for the bigger tasks I turned to Ghene Smith from I Create Design. They printed and designed my boards.
