A dear friend of mine works in the same office as Aurmand. I always call her and this guy would normally pick up the phone.He had this soft calming voice and wold always transfer the call to my friend with a smiling voice and I would tell myself,sjoe,wonder who that guy is.One evening my friend had a fundraise for her brother, he saw me once through the crowd, I never saw him. The next day he sent me a facebook friend request, so I investigated his profile first. I saw mutual friends,and oh my word,t his is the guy that works with my friend,saw on his pictures.
we started to chat and exchanging numbers and we coudnt stop talking.We went out on our first date to gordons bay and it was as if we knew each other for a very long time.
I knew this is guy I was praying for. God knew what he had in store for me and it was worth the wait.He blessed me with a soft hearted loving God fearing man.
Aurmand is in a wheelchair after he was shot in his neck doing his police duties a few years ago. That doesn't stop him of pursuing his goals and dreams. I don't see his wheelchair at all. The person in that wheelchair and the good heart that he has, that is what I see.
Myself, my sister Angelique and a few friends went to Thailand for holiday. On arrival at Cape town airport some of both our family members were there. Aurmand was hiding behind a huge Christmas tree. He asked infront of everyone the big question and everyone was crying and congratulating us. That was the cherry on the cake of my holiday. It was a very special moment and that i will never forget.
