The best day of our lives!
I would have this day over and over again,our wedding day was honestly the best day of my life!
1.The highlights were most certainly when me aswell as my bridesmaids and family were getting ready for this magical day.
Seeing everybody soo excited for us and and our journey aswell as everybody getting along warmed my heart!
2.When my bridesmaids and flower girl stood fully dresses ready to walk into the church i could not hold back the tears, they were just so beautiful!
3.The moment the bell rang and the doors slammed open and I saw my handsome husband to be.
4.When we finally got to share our first kiss as husband and wife after 8 years together.
5.The moment we sat down and i just glazed around and saw all the friends and family just happy and there for us made my heart feel warm inside!
6.Our first dance,well i know alot of people say that but ours was very special (we have never ever danced together as for my husband doesnt dance)so when we finally danced it was amazing!
7.after the reception we wanted to have more fun so we all (bridesmaids and groomsmen)decided to go for a swim at 1 in the morning!
Actually the whole day was memorable!❤
Unfortunatly we have not been on honeymoon yet, we are still saving up for that one.

My wedding dress was made by Mariska Pfhal Couture, I did do wedding dress shopping but deep down i knew that I was not going to get the dress i dreamed of, so after trying on a couple of dresses i just knew i had to have my dress made..
I saved a photo from google of course and kept my mind set on that photo ,i did try different styles but my heart was set..
My dress had really thin beaded straps which were more close to my shoulders,I had a sweatheart neckline and my dress was all lace with satin from my hips.My dress was fitted with a kind of mermaid like bottom.
My hair was in an updo with a braid on the side and burgandy flowers at the back.
I only wore a beautiful rosegold diamond bracelet with rosegold diamond dangling earings.(lovisa)
My shoes were burgandy coloured heels to match my flowers and decor
We got married at Makiti Venue/Lodge in Krugersdorp Gauteng.
The venue has the most beautiful green gardens and landscape/water features.
Makes the most beautiful photos.
I would choose makiti everytime!
The venue has accomodation aswell as 3 venue's on the premises.
Well to be honest I really didnt do too much changes to myself for my wedding.
I did do sunbathing aswell as a strickt diet a month before the wedding and then the usual hair,nails,spa treatments.
Olwe were very lucky because our venue had everything covered,they did flowers and decor.
My flowers and decor was very winter like colours (burgandy,navy,wood light dirty pink)
My tables had a big flower element as the decor aswell as wood underplates with a navy napkin with burgandy overlays.
The groom wore a beautiful tailored suit in navy, dark brown belt with matching shoes,burgandy leather bo-tie,white shirt and a sheek navy newsboy hat.
The groomsmen wore navy pant with a white longsleeve shirt aswell as a burgandy leather bo-tie,brown belts and shoes.
We did give them all funny matching polka-dot socks.
My bridesmaids were without a doubt the most beautiful bridesmaids I have ever seen!
They wore burgandy dresses,two different types(thin straps with a A-line neck/halter neck)the dresses were just below the knee but folded into a tulip skirt at the bottem.
They wore dusty pink heels.
We found the dresses images on google and had them made.
The venue provided us with a marriage officer.

We did not make use of any transport as to the venue and honeymoon suite is at the same place so we did not need to travel.really great!!
The venue Makiti-Venue/Lodge prepared our food, We had a buffet type of menu.
Everything was soo delicious and very well prepared.
We ejoyed the food alot!
My wedding cake was made by Elmari Greyling from Secunda (the best wedding cake)My sister brought the cake all the wat from Secunda to the venue
Me and my bridesmaids designed everything from thank you cards to seating chart aswell as place keepers for the chapel.
We just had them printed at our local printing company in Sasolburg.
Well..our first dance was truely amazing,we have never danced with eachother since we have been together (8 years) we did not take dancing lessons aswell,my husband isnt the dancing type so our first dance was litterly OUR FIRST DANCE
