The most memorable moment of our day was that we could spend it with close family. We had an intimate small wedding and would not change it for anything else. We were able to have brunch and spend quality time with our family.
We decided to rather have a small wedding and spend most of our expenses on our honeymoon and home. We, therefore, went to Bali, which was an amazing experience. We learnt so much about their culture, traditions and the kind of people they are. We also love to explore, thus we travelled to different placed in Bali to experience the sea, jungle and tourist attractions, and spa.
We got married in our hometown, Piet Retief. It had an extraordinary wedding venue - Welverdiend - that had exactly what we wanted.
We had a morning/brunch wedding, therefore guests that travelled from far were able to stay the night at the venue. We also had family in Piet Retief so a lot of guests also stayed at family members.
