Walking down the staircase towards the outside Pavilion with Riana Nel singing "From this moment" live... leaving the groom and almost all the wedding guests in tears.
Secondly, walking into our Reception hall as Mr and Mrs on of my favourite songs (A Thousand Wedding Bells by Brad and Rebekah) seeing it for the first time, was an absolute breathtaking moment.
And thirdly, our first dance. The well-choreographed latin number got the hearts beating, shoes tapping and hips swinging. A joyous occasion of love, laughter and photographs to last a lifetime.
Our honeymoon was enjoyed at the incredible 5-star Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on The Palm, Dubai. Having never been there, this was the most amazing experience where one could truly have the best of both. From a full day of shopping at the World's biggest mall to relaxing at your very own private beach, with your loved one, this was the ultimate getaway for your first holiday as husband and wife.
After taking about a hundred screenshots, browsing through dozens of Pinterest pages, and creating a folder to combine all my thoughts and ideas of dresses, hairstyles, make-up looks and shoes that would ultimately clarify exactly what I wanted for my big day. However... it only took one visit to the first bridal shop, trying on my first dress to seal the deal. I knew from that moment, this was it and from there the rest would flow.
I have always loved a more feminine, soft and natural look together with an enhancement of one's features, therefore choosing to go with simple yet elegant accessories by Swarovski, MAC make-up (done by Elzane Westerman), a relaxed yet classy upstyle (done by Nicole Botha from Dimension Hair) and a beautiful blush suede heel by Miss Black.
Our special day was had at the pictureque Oxbow Country Estate in Pretoria, Gauteng. Due to the fact that there were 16 rooms available at the venue, hosting almost half of our wedding guests, as well as surrounding guesthouses less than 10km away, this added much value to our choice of wedding venue. Quality time for us means everything.

We were completely blown away by how unbelievably beautiful David and his team from Caar'li Flora accessorized the decor by doing floral runners with added drama at the ends to compliment the banquet design of the reception hall, together with the stunning backdrop created with large green leaves, mirrors, Rose Gold "You & me' signage and paper folded Roses, setting the perfect display for many photos to be taken.
The bridal bouquet was something never seen before with the bouquet literally having its own train, to flow with the elegant and classic style of the dress giving not distracting it from any attention it deserved.

Maid of Honour wore a dress designed and made by Gelique. As this was the only bridesmaid, the look was a pure presentation of class, colour and charisma fitting in with the decor and flowers chosen for our Spring wedding.
