Our wedding day was so special. We invited only the people that are near and dear to our hearts. A real 'family'. There were a couple of things that stood out for us...
Sharing our first communion as a married couple, Esmond singing to me and being completely hilarious as always. We had the coolest band ever too.
Instead of the usual wedding entrance and exit car I was pulled in on a wagon, and left the ceremony on a horse with Esmond walking right by my side. All of this was a part of keeping the farm-feel we wanted. And what a highlight that was.
We went to Langezandt Fisherman's Village for the first part of our honeymoon. Right on the beach, just the way we would have it.
Halfway through we went to a quaint little town to unwind and enjoy the culture.

Everything was completely rustic. Typical farm style wedding. Even the flowers were found on the farm. Proteas, Ivy...
My bird cages and lawn games were from Strawberry Events. They have the most beautiful things.
The groom and his guys wore suits from Eurosuit. There lapels were from there too.
Cufflinks are from Unbreakable Man.
My girls wore skirts and camisole's. very different to the norm, yet they looked stunning in their dusty pink skirts and off white tops. Our "getting ready" robes were made One Boutique Store.

We used an old green wagon. I was pulled to ceremony on that. And for after the ceremony we used a horse to take us to the cellar where we did our signing.
