We married at Acorn Guest Farm situated just outside Carolina in Mpumalanga. We chose the venue based on the face that we wanted a weekend wedding where our guests could stay over and for the beautiful woods. The ceremony was held in the woods filled with trees- a true fairy tale wedding.
The venue accommodated about 70 guests to stay the night and furthermore guesthouses in the surrounding area was used for the remained of our guests.

We truly had the best people capturing our big day!
Blanche Burger from BlancheB Photography was our photographer and is great at capturing moments rather that staging them. She became a close friend and her works speaks for itself- she is amazing.
At the last minute, we found videographers Jaen and Jan from Volk & Vlieer, that we knew would capture our day in the perfect way.
Our photobooth was made by ourselves, using copper piping to make a frame and flowers to decorate the frame. A couch with empty photo frames and a Rose Gold buck head mounted to the wall finished off our classy yet unique photobooth. Our guests made use of a Polaroid camera to take photos and stick them into our guest book and write a short message.
All planning was done by ourselves.
Our happy feet
Toast Co. was the caterer we used for all the meals prepared for the wedding.
The Friday night before the wedding we had a braai with friends & family. Toast caters made the side dishes.
Toast did the 3 course meal for our wedding as well as the wedding cake
The Sunday Toast made the breakfast for our guest that stayed over.
We used a design purchased from Etsy to make our Menus and had it printed at Gecko Printing in Centurion.
Table numbers & signs were designed by myself and made by Aliberti Events
Our venue supplied us with a DJ that did both the lights and the sound.
We have dancing together for years...so no need for dance lessons (wink-wink)
