For my wedding looks... I went for simple but absolutely elegant.. My hair was an up do, with a lot of Bobby pins involved.. Lol.. My make up, which my cousin did, was natural with a focus on the eyes.. Check her out on Instagram GlowbyFelix, she is amazing at her job.. The wedding dress... Oh my the wedding dress.. A trumpet style dress with lace applique and pearls.. I don't even know how to describe it, it was just absolutely made for me.. Got the dress from Lady lace bridal.. I had fabulous gold shoes... All white lingerie... Jewellery.. Only went with pearl earings and a pearl bracelet.. Didn't want to over power the dress.. The only accessory I had was a silver pearl headpiece..
We got married at my parents house in Cullinan... We are black... The tent in the street is the was to go.. Our guests came the morning of the wedding...
I really did not do much leading up to the wedding... Not to brag but my family genes got me through... Lol... The only thing was that I should steam my face twice a day, three day before the wedding... A tip by GlowbyFelix
For the décor, a family friend who owns MamaMo Events, took my dream and made it a reality.. The brief was as follows.. I would like white, champagne gold and a touch of orange.. She gave me that and a lot more... I asked he to take me to the moon and she went beyond that.. We had champagne Tiffany chairs and pallet couchs... Flowers to die for...
Well since I was the bride I made sure that they looked amazing.. My Husband was in a white blazer with black lapel and trimmings... Black pants and brown shoes from Italy.. Which my dad gifted him... The grooms men was the husbands idea... To match with the bridesmaids they were in champagne pants and waistcoat.. The best man was in a charcoal suit.
My bridesmaids were in a long champagne dresses.. Which was made by one of our local seamstress in Mamelodi... They came out beautiful
