My wedding day was a perfect mixture of elegance and tranquility. It was a beautiful sunny day and not too hot also. The most memorable thing for me was that everything went as planned and it was a huge party where everyone enjoyed themselves on and off the dancefloor.
We went on honeymoon the next day. We went to Seapoint for a week and then the Westcoast for the weekend. It was amazing being just the two of us<3
I went for a very relaxed and natural look with curls that flows into a braid. My make up was done with bronze eyeshadow and i also put on lash extentions. My wedding dress we bought at Amber Rain Bridal and it just fit perfectly and everyone loved it. My jewelery i had put on my old pearl earrings for my something old and a bracelet that i got as a present from my husband on the day of our wedding as my something new.
We got married at Pheasant Hill venue which is the perfect venue for a bride that wants to be stress free. Pieter the owner always does his best to make sure the bride is happy and calm. Some of our guests also stayed the night and they stayed at the venue as they also offer about 22 rooms because they are also a guest house.
I started working out at curves, i went to whiten my teeth at Dr George Kellerman and i did a mask at home every now and then for my face.
My flowers and decor was all included in our wedding package at Pheasant hill. I always said i do not want to have a lot of flowers as they are expensive and just spoil so quickly so we did mostly pennygum leaves and fairy lights and a few white flowers here and there.
The groom and groomsman had grey suits on with matching white shirts and green bow ties. They rented the suits from Eurosuit in Brooklyn mall.
My bridesmaids wore a long emerald green dress with silver detail on the shoulders. It was made for them by Jasmine design studios.
Our marriage officer was Ds Tienie Bosman from NG Stella Street and he did an amazing job. He kept it short and sweet but with big power and really got to know us to make it fit us.
Our photographer was Rachelle b Photography and our videographer was Quake portifolios Wedding Films
Pieter the owner of the venue was basically our wedding planner also as he arranged everything.
We used my aunts Mercedes Benz as my wedding car but just for photo purposes as i got ready at the venue
The venue prepared the food and it was amazing. Everything was just delicious and also beautiful. Our wedding cake was made by Zeelandia Phaal a lady that has a small baking service but her cakes are to die for and always spot on for what was asked
We did the printing through a friend of ours.
We did not take dance lessons as we felt we enjoy danving together and we know each others way of dancing. The sound and lighting was done by the on site DJ Wihan who also did an amazing job
