Everything about our Wedding day is Memorable and Precious to us.
For me personally a Big highlight was walking down the aisle.
Knowing that the moment has finally arrived, my husband to be is waiting for me at the end, but also seeing all the faces staring back at me. The expression on our guests faces seeing me for the first time and all the responses i heard. to me that was a magical moment within itself.
There is quite a few others for us as we have put a lot of planning and time into the day.
The moment we walked into the reception our Bridal party came running up to us with his parent sward and a bottle of Bubbly to chop as a symbol of celebration.
First dance and Father daughter dance was something different.
For our guest the Photo booth was a great hit.
At the end of the evening we had the DJ play happy birthday to two of our guest whom had their birthday the following day. The bridal party came in with a cake for each one of them as we dance around in celebration.
Yes we decided to keep our Honeymoon short and local as we also wanted to spend as much time possible with family who traveled all the way to attend our big day.
We are planning on a big trip for our First Anniversary instead.
We spent our first night at Langverwagt in Kuilsriver and had the most amazing breakfast on the patio with quite a view the next morning.
Our second and third evening was spent at Africamps - Kam'Bati in Swellendam where they did the most beautiful Turndown for us.
Night four and five was spent at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve. Wow what an amazing experience!

The very first thing I bought for our Wedding was a custom made flower crown from Opgedollie and it all evolved from there.
I knew I wanted something different and unique, but as I shopped around I could never find the "right dress" for me. I saw stunning dresses, but never the right one. One evening I was in bed looking at Pinterest and the idea for my dress sparked. I got hold of Bride-ZIlla and with her help and ideas from a few different styles we made the dress I wanted in the colors I wanted.
My Hair and Make-up was done by Suzanne from Skoonlief.
I wanted something casual so we worked with my natural curls that she managed to give so much volume and my make-up was kept neutral but absolutely stunning.

My accessories I also kept very simple.
My earrings was my "Something Old" that I have had for many years and the only jewelry i would have worn, but then I received a Pandora bracelet from my Husband as a wedding gift that morning and decided to wear it as my "Something new".
A friend of mine borrowed me her white clutch bag she worn to her wedding and my "something blue" was some lingerie I received as a gift from my mother.

I decided that a crash diet or suddenly changing who I am and have been for the past 10 years with my partner for one day is not the way I want to do this.
We all know straight after the Wedding we anyway go back to our old habits.
My new sister in law Lindi Low has her own salon - Vanillia Health & Beauty Salon in Bellville
All my Dermalogica facials and waxing was done with her.
The only thing I started doing before the wedding was drinking Sally-Ann Creed Pure Hydrolysed Collagen to give my hair, nails and skin a boost. I fell in love with the product and all its benefits so will continue with this for as long as I possible can.

With the Groomsmen we also wanted to keep it casual where as the groom decided to look a bit more formal.
Navy was the choice we all settled with as it is such a timeless color and it allowed for the groomsmen to wear Jeans to match the theme without looking too casual.

We made use of Moments2Media for our Photo Booth and Slowmo Booth. It was such great fun and we recieved some amazing footage.
Our entire Wedding was planned and coordinated ourselves.
I received a lot of help with the decorations, Setup and DIY projects from both Mothers, Family, Bridal parties and Friends.
I attended a wedding expo with my Mother in law when we just started with the planning and that was where I met most om my vendors.
So our DJ was Nico from Mr. Music Mobile Disco.
He recommended that I had a song suggestion page on our wedding website (MyWedding Online) for the guest to let us know what they want to hear.
I gave that to him and he incorporated that with some more song. we had our guests on the floor until the very last song was played.
