Our love story begin the moment i saw her in front of the church yard after great music show 21 May 2017 , she was standing with her friend looking flawless and beautiful in a long red jacket (i thought she was Indian) waiting for an Uber, i had seen her earlier that night coming but didn't pay much attention, its like when i saw her I knew i needed to meet her later but i put a pause on it because i was readying myself to go on stage, back to the front of the church, i caught myself starring at her for like 10 seconds and her friend who knew me disturbed my moment of gasping and said 'hey Calvin that is Roxanne my friend' and i just stood not knowing what to say but finally said hi, we had a small talk, then there was an Uber arrived off and she went, and i offered to literally pick her up because she was wearing hi heels and the churche's yard has this gravel stones that aren't friendly to shoes, and she said no but you can hold my hand and i knew then that i want to hold that hand for the rest of my days, the walk to the Uber was like 10 seconds but i tell yah to me it was so long and amazing to my heart, i knew then then i was in love thn she took my numbers and she contacted the very next day on Whats-App and at that time i was already preparing my heart that i was going to pursue her and win her over to my heart....then the rest was history....now 7 months later we are in love and engaged
The proposal happened on a beautiful Friday night the 15th of December 2017 after a long three weeks of planning and after getting a blessing from her family and also asking my traditional family to allow me to do this proposal my way....
I suggested to her that we do a couples photo shoot to basically celebrate our love in 2017, so i booked a photographer and we planned to buy the outfits that very Friday of the photo-shoot, the plan was to do the propose right in the photo-shoot, tell my friend that she said yes and suggest that we go celebrate at my friends place since they have a restaurant there only to surprise with her family and friends and give her flowers but that plan didn't work because I ran out of cash due to giving her some money because she needed it for personal use and i bought the ring, the flowers and food for the surprise party, so that morning i woke up stressed because we needed the photo-shoot money, the hair, nails and all, so we were both depressed however i managed to get cash for her hair, nails and suggested that we cancel the shoot and rather go and hang out somewhere and just be together, but the plan to propose her was intact and i knew that its going to happen come hell or high water, so i asked my friend to invite us to dinner at his place, get me flowers, and also asked her sisters to get flowers and this is how it happened.....
we went to my friends house which has a clubhouse, toured with her while we were destructing her not smell whats cooking, we went in the clubhouse and it was dark because everyone was hiding with flowers in their hands waiting for her to step in, as soon as we gave the sign the lights went on and her friends and sisters shouted surprise and handed her flowers and cheered while i knelt down behind with a ring on my hand as she was shocked and surprised and when she turned i was right there giving her my heart and i asked her to marry me, with tears in her eyes she said yes....and boom i am happy man now
