Our wedding day was PERFECT! There was not one thing that went wrong...
But if I had to think back I would say the highlight of our wedding day was when I walked down the isle with my mother and seeing my husband to be all teary-eyed at the end of the isle. Also, our first dance as husband and wife is something I will never forget.
We went to Kata Beach in Thailand. :-) What an amazing experience. Hot, but amazing and so memorable.
The wedding look I was going for was timeless elegance. I opted for an Elegant mermaid wedding dress in which the crepe skirt meets tulle and lace at the waist to form a bodice with illusions where thread embroidery appliqués and beading create a second-skin effect. I fell in-love with my dress during my visit to Timeless Bridal Couture in Pretoria.
For my hair I wanted to show off my amazing details on the dress and went for a curly messy side bun. My hair was done by Yolande from Angelic Allure, and she knew exactly what to do. Soft messy curls with an up style complimented with a pearly silver hair piece.
My plan was always to keep my make up as little as possible as I'm not one to normally wear a lot of make up and I wanted to make sure I still looked like myself. Once again the talented Yolande form Angelic Allure completely blew away my expectations and was able to give me a natural look with all the accent on my eyes.
My shoes were from the Anella Wedding Shoes range that I bought from Villa Bridal Boutique in Hyde Park. I went for the blush pink colour which worked perfectly, not only with the dress and accessories but also with the colour scheme of my wedding.
Lastly, I got my wedding jewellry from Lovisa. This brought my entire look together and made me feel like the most beautiful bride.

We got married at the stunning and peaceful Oakfield Farm and chose The Dairy as our venue. We fell in-love with the venue as soon as we walked into the chapel.

Blush pink and White with a touch of greenery was the colours of our wedding. The talented Erna from Magnifique Floral Art and decor design turned my vision into a reality. She was responsible for all our wedding decor and flowers. It was an absolute dream to work with her and to see how she was able to set the scene for an elegant-romantic wedding.
My groom looked so handsome in his navy suit from Woolworths with a darker shade of navy tie from a wedding store close to us and dark caramel shoes and belt from David Jones.
Initially we struggled to get outfits for the groomsmen but finally got a darker shade of navy pants and waistcoat from a wedding store close to us with a blush pink tie.
My 4 bridesmaids wore a full-length blush pink dress with soft elegant lace at the top. We got these stunning dresses from Hoiden Bridesmaids.
Our marriage was celebrated and officiated by Ds. Pieter Fourie from OmG-Gemeente.
We were so fortunate to have been able to book the extremely talented and super professional Celeste Cilliers for out photos and Shaun from McCrea Media for our video. It was such a pleasure to have them on our day, they were both amazing and was able to work great together as a team. We had so much fun with them!
We also won a photobooth from Mustang Sally to interaction our guests during the canape hour.

Our stunning venue had a horse and carriage that we were able to use. Typical fairytale moment!
Our wedding cake was made by Joy from Sweet Joy and we bought our Doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. It was divine.

We had such a great party and our DJ were sure to keep the atmosphere and energy on the dance floor. Our first dance was such a special moment, we chose a slow dance Afrikaans song. With hubby having two left feet we decided to go for wedding lessons to make this a dance to remember.
