This was the best day of my life.
I don’t have one specific moment of the day that I favored, I cherish the moment I saw my husbands face as I walked down the aisle, he initiated the most incredible first kiss(even better than our original first kiss ’blush’), we had the most perfect first dance and we came back to our wedding after our send off because we didn’t want the best day ever to be over.
My husband surprised me at the airport. Initially he told me we were going to KZN on a road trip but when we got to the airport, he told me we were going to Zanzibar. He kept the secret so well.
I went for a subtle bridal look. I had a smokey eye type colour with a slight brown colour in my make up, done by Elandi Mans at PH skin care in Vereeniging. I got my wedding dress from Lubellos Bridal in Pretoria, specifically designed. It was the most perfect dress for me and I just fell in love with it! My shoes were a nude/pink colour and they were these beautiful wedges. I got all my lingerie from Woolworths in Vaal Mall. My bridesmaids bought my accessories for me as a surprise, they literally gave it to me 5 minutes before the photographer started on my photos.
I actually went to see a dermatologist. Who gave me a super natural cream and face wash which helped clear up my skin. I had problems with my skin but I could believe how perfect it was on our wedding day.
Our wedding colours were a vintage mint green, dusty pink/peach and rose gold(with all the glitter).
We used succulents on the tables and in the bouquets. I had 3 rose gold vases of different styles on each table with small rose gold candles and a dusty pink runner on the table.
We got married in a sort of a white dome outside area and this was perfect for the colour, I had chose because the dome was white.
The groom wore a navy blue suit, which was a perfect fit! He had a blue tie on.
The groomsmen wore chinos with a white shirt and a navy blue blazer. They looked awesome.
The suits were purchased at Men in Black, Italy and the pants were bought at Woolworths.
Bridesmaid wore a dusty pink dress with a tulle over lay and they had a rose gold belt. I purchased these from Gelique.

We were legally married by a pastor named Byron Mans.
We then asked a close friend to marry us in God’s eyes on the wedding day,Joel De Oliveira.
We used Arline Photography and Videography to capture this special day. They have done an incredible job so far.
We had a photo booth and this was done by Aisle Hire It.
We didn’t do the traditional wedding cake, we actually ordered Krispy Kreme glazed donuts and stacked them on the cake stand. We have only heard great things about this “cake” and our guests loved them so much.
We actually designed and printed our stationery by ourselves. We had a lot of fun in doing this because it caused us to learn more about each other.
We had live music for the cocktail hour and during dinner and the same people who did the live music, did the dj-ing. His name is Bruno Dos Santos, his company’s name is BDS Music.
