Yes for a week! In Hermanus, we stayed at the Beach Club. Best week!(Our honeymoon was a gift from my grandmother(Elizabeth Moodley) and aunt(Cindy Moodley)).
My beautiful dress I bought from Bride&co, my hair was done by a friend(Terri Davids). My make up was done by Gio Davids. Shoes I bought at Free2bu and my accesories was also bought at Bride&co.
Boesmanland Farm kitchen! What a wonderful venue. Right on the beach with a rustic feel. The atmosphere there is just wonderful and their staff is great. They made my day extra special.
I only had my nails and lashes done by Taren Petersen who did a great job!

My decor was very simple. The venue had its own rustic which I wanted to keep, so I just added a few things here and there. Our tables had white table cloths with hessian runners(which my husband and I made ourselves). We had a wooden underplate in the centre of the table with a bottle with twine(my husband made those) with flowers in it and a jar with also hessian around and flowers. We had little chalk boards as our table numbers and wooden underplates which we hired from happytree. The roof had fairy which Boesmanland did themselves. Our main table decor was done by a friend. We had round wooden tables with logs as chairs(this was provided by boesmalnand). On the logs we had white little cushions with the guests names on it(once again we did this ourselves, my husbands grandma made us the cushions). Our ceremony was the most beautiful on the grass outside by the beach. With a white little gezebo which belongs to the venue. White chairs whuch we also hired from the venue and the decor for the ceremony was also done by our friend. Our cheese and wine was done by my mother and sister in law( decor and food).
The beauty of the fundamental nature of a rustic wedding is that simple touches with a lot of personality can speak volumes.
My groomsmen wore a a cream like chino which they bought from markhams and white shirts which they bought from edgars. They added happy socks and braces to their look. They had bow ties that matched my bridesmaids dresses which was made by the same friend who made my bridesmaids dresses. Their shoes was also bought at edgars.
They wore soft pink dresses(long length dresses) which was made by a friend of mine. I had the idea ib my head just showed her a picture and she did it ecactly as I wanted. They were all wearing sandals.

Our very own spiritual father and so much more.
This too was a friend of ours. Photographer Ralph Jacobs from Vision Photography.
We did all the planning ourselves with the help of family and friends and the wedding co-ordinator(Cathlin) at Boesmanland.
Everything happended at the venue so we did'nt really need transport. A friend of my husband( also he's groomsman) fetched me and my girls from the house where we were dressing to the venue.
Boesmanland Farm Kitchen prepared the food(buffet). And our beautiful wedding cake was done by Classic Bakery.
