Our wedding day was one for the books. We went for a vintage theme and with a father-law like mine (lucky me) who has so much knowledge and experience, I knew it all will come together into one most memorable picture and everything was stylish to the finest detail. From the masses flowers to our five layer wedding cake and not to even mention our dessert table, every sweet tooths dream. Le Souvenir wedding venue was the perfect background for taking the most breathtaking wedding pictures.
"After cocktails we all moved on to the venue. It was breathtaking with huge, wrought iron chandeliars hanging from the vast ceilings with antiquated Rose's interspersed with dry flowers and gray foliage with pearls cascading down. There were several of these hanging baskets of beauty. The hall was like a wedding for royals. Wonderful cuisine and a sweets installation of huge perportion. With a 5m cimawar golden centrepiece. Cakes and sweets of every exotic kind was stacked fashionably and voqueshly amongst flowers, candles and miling guest... This was a wedding, bride and groom fit for the best magazine in the world!"

We did not go on honeymoon as we started our new work at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in Gansbaai. After the wedding we had to move to our new hometown which is now De Kelders into our new home we brought to make new memories with our precious furry boerboel babies rather to go on a honeymoon.
My dress was layers of soft lace, with a hint of flesh-pink first layer, created by the famous designer, Peter Bondisio of Bondisio Couture.
My long hair was done in a the classic low, off-centre up-style, with a few soft curls framing my face. René of Design X Hair Clinic , outdid herself.
Being a beautician myself, I am always VERY particular about my skin and makeup. Aneska of Divine Make Up Studio exceeded my expectations. It was soft, quite natural, yet accentuating the necessary features. Exactly what the camera wanted.
I stumbled upon the most beautiful high- heeled, bling, (not too much), pair of silvery sandals.
My jewellery consisted of only a pearl bracelet and pearl earrings, which every one agrees complimented my whole look.
My antique lace garter, made especially for me by my (the future) mother-in-law, had the "must have" Something blue in.
