My wedding was quite unique ecspecially in South Africa. I went for a Disney themed wedding, but kept it as eligant as possible. Having a Disney wedding meant that finding wedding decor was really hard so it turned out to be the best DIY wedding.
Recreating the fairytales was the best experience and made all the long hours and sleepless nights so worth it when I got to finally be the princess for the day.
My most memorable moment was definently walking down the isle. I remember feeling super nervous the first few steps trying to glance at all the geusts, but then I looked up to see my husbands face only to find myself content and not so nervous anymore. He cried thru the whole cermony and reminded me why I am incredibly lucky to be marrying him.
My wedding look was definently Disney princess. I had tons of layers of beautiful white dress with sparkels, pearls and lace. It was a Jasmine designer all the way from Paris. Being a princess I did a stylish updo with elegant soft rosegold jewellry from Lovisa. My shoes was a sandle heal in rosegold ofcourse and for my dancing shoes I had my best friend hand paint me Tommie takkies with a Minnie & Mickey mouse on.
I stumbled across this venue when Tyrone and I were just dating in high school and I fell head over hills inlove with it. So 5 years later when we got engaged it was the 1st venue on my list I had to visit. And it did not dissapoint. We stayed over and met with the friendly staff the next day to see the venue and thats where it ended. We didn't even go and see other venues. Before we booked our day, Cranford opened a competition for a bridal couple to win the venue hire. We entered and so did my bridesmaids. We were very fortunate to have won our dream wedding at the venue we fell inlove with. Their food is divine, the staff is friendly and the venue is beautiful.

I was truly blessed that my bridesmaid loved baking and wanted to make our wedding cake. We gave her quite a challenge as we wanted a cake with lemon curd filling with mickey mouse cut outs and it had to be a naked cake. But she went above and beyond with it and was the best cake i had ever tasted.
