The highlight of my day was walking down the aisle with my mom by my side and seeing my very soon to be husband standing at the end. The ceremony seemed to go so quickly but the moment we exchange rings and had our first kiss as husband and wife will forever be frozen in my mind. I also enjoyed the celebration with all my guests! It was the best party I have ever had and my groom and I danced our feet off. I couldn't stop smiling the whole day.
Yes we went Bali and enjoyed exploring many of the 'towns' and islands while we were there. My highlight was snorkelling with Manta Rays off the island of Nusa Lembongan.
I would say my wedding look was romantic and simple. My hair and makeup was done by Tris Alves makeup. My wedding dress was from Bridal House. Jewellery was very simple and was rose gold and bought from Lovisa.

We got married at Everwood Country Weddings. Our guests didn't stay the night as the venue doesn't have over night accommodation, however this wasn't a problem as the venue is in Muldersdrift and wasn't far for majority of our guests.
My beauty regime was very simple. I had a facial a month before the wedding and I had a manicure and pedicure the day before. I got a spray tan from Tris Alves 3 days before my wedding.
I am an active person and exercise at least 3 times a week so I didn't up my fitness regime but I was more strict a month before the wedding with my diet.
Our decor was very simple and romantic with hints of lace. We had pink stargazer lilies and baby's breath on our tables with navy blue lace runners. Monique from Splendid Wedding designs did our decor and flowers and made everything look absolutely perfect. We had Protea wine bottles cut and used these as candle holders. Stage, DJ and lighting was done by Cream Cheese DJs.
My groom wore a navy blue suit from Edgars with a champagne coloured tie. The groomsmen wore chino pants from Markhams, white shirts from Woolworths and navy blue ties. We had the ties made at a local tailor.
My bridesmaids wore navy blue halter neck dresses made by Kameo Designs from YDE.
Our special moments were captured by the extremely talented Elsa from Steel Monkey photography. She also did our engagement shoot. She is so talented and has such a wonderful eye for capturing moments.

Our reception was an absolute party! We had a small wedding which I am glad about as we got to spend time with each and every guest. Our DJ who also did the sound and lighting was Morgan from Cream Cheese DJs.
