All furniture came from our venue and luckily the venue itself has a lot of beautiful greenery. However we brought in the superb Xenia from Kweek Studio to add her magical touch to the tables and to create overhanging displays. She created beautiful simple bouquets for the bridesmaids and she made individual designed bouquets for each bride. She followed our colour scheme and brief so well and the flowers were to die for
Since there is no groom in this equation we decided that instead of leaving our brothers out we would include them and have them standing besides our bridesmaids. As they are all living in different cities we have everyone rent there own suits to fit there body type and they all wore matching black shirts and ties. We could not pass up the opportunity to add a bit of fun to the equation by giving them all a fun coloured pair of socks to wear for a group photo
Having both been bridesmaids on several occasions we decided that we would give our bridesmaids the opportunity to wear a dress that they were comfortable in and that suited there body type. As they all live in different cities it would have made it near impossible for them to all find matching colours so we choose to let them all pick floor length black dresses. The black dresses off set our dresses so well and helped pull together the feel of the wedding as a whole. It also helped that alot of our guests ended up wearing black on the day
We took a trip to home affairs for the formalities as we wanted to have someone who knew us as a couple to do the honour of marrying us. We always have felt that we wanted something more personal and casual than the standard formalities you normally hear at a wedding so our good friend performed a beautiful ceremony
We are lucky enough to have a friend who is an excellent coordinator so it made it easy for us. Johan from Blank Events helped us with all the ins and outs, he was willing to share his contacts and offer his advise at every step of the way. He ensured that the day ran smoothly and went the extra mile for us
Ricardo from Morris Business Zone helped us get all our guests home safely from the venue. He was very helpful and accommodating to our requests and we had excellent feedback from the people who drove with him
We opted not to have a wedding cake as our amazingly talented friends at The Flying Pan have excellent desert options. They catered our entire event and out did themselves. From a gorgeous harvest table filled with snacks during our pre drinks, they then went on to create to delicious adventure of mains ranging from a Mexican fiesta of chilli poppers and tacos, to American gourmet mini sliders and fries station with dipping sauces to die for. Finally finishing off with to Asian mini boxes of deliciousness with there own little chopsticks. As if that was not enough they knocked it out of the park with desert creating mouth watering chocolate brownies and mini pancakes two ways. They say food makes a wedding and we have not stopped hearing how much everyone loved the food at our wedding so we would highly recommend The Flying Pan to anyone

Heather designed and printed the stationary for the wedding as well as did the save the date and invitations. It helps to have an artistic person in a relationship
Lighting was done by Prickly Pear company and they helped to ensure that our venue was beautifully lit up against the night sky. The have letter light boxes and these were a huge hit at the wedding with all of our guests posing in front of them to take photos.
Our DJ is a friend (Khylie Robus) she ensured that everyone was glued to the dance floor from the word go. It is always difficult at weddings when a DJ doesn't know the couples taste in music or what the expectations are for the night so we were very grateful to have someone who knows us on decks ensuring that we could party till the early hours of the morning.
