Leading up to our wedding day we were so excited to marry each other, on our wedding day my nerves and excitement was through the roof. My highlight of our wedding was hooking my arm in my fathers arm and walk down the aisle to the love of my life who was in tears. Another highlight of our wedding was when Juan pulled me aside and told me he can’t believe how blessed he is and that God made me for him with tears in his eyes.
We stayed at Makiti for our first night, we moved to dikhololo game reserve in the eland camp for 7 days. We traveled to the nest in the drakesberg for 7 days in the honeymoon suite overlooking the mountains.
We got married at the river chapel at Makiti enyani venue. What a breathtaking venue, my wedding coordinator was incredible, she took care of everything for me. The chapel was right on the river and has rock faces as a background while you marry your love of your life. I love the natural look to the whole wedding which is what I wanted

My color scheme was dusty blue and apricot, I wanted lots of roses and to make the contrast between the blue and the apricot very noticeable everywhere you look. The flowers are roses and were around a light lantern. We had a wonderful background of lights and lots of draping with fairy lights
