The moment I walked in the aisle with my dad and I saw how lucky I am because my future husband was standing waiting for me there in the front. I couldn't be more blessed. Our first announcement as Mr and Mrs Erwee was also so special to me. I can't describe the feeling. The choice to choose such a stunning partner for life.
No we didn't go on honeymoon yet. We really want to go to France and see Paris and the Eiffel tower it would be a dream come true.
My wedding look was a bohemian themed look that I went for. My hair and make up was done by Follicle hair at Hazeldean, Silverlakes.
My wedding dress I got from the Bridal house. It was not easy as I did not fit into my original dress and I had to choose another dress which I had to work hard to fit into.
As I am a shoe junkie I bought my shoes from rage as I think their shoes are just the best.
My jewelry was a gift from my fiance a Pandora bracelet. My earrings I bought from Lovisa in Brooklyn Mall. I didn't wear a necklace as my dress was just enough. Less is more I believe.
I bought my lingerie from Cotton on and Woolworths.
We got married at Die Akker country venue. It is a beautiful rustic themed venue which we absolutely loved from the beginning. We had some guests that stayed over at the venue they had a guesthouse which the guests stayed in.
I started to crossfit to get into shape for my dress. Also I started an eating plan tried to eat only healthy. I also changed my skin care products to Clarins which made such a big difference I couldn't believe it. A week and a half before the wedding I was treated to a Mongwanani Spa treatment day that included a full body massage and a neck and shoulder massage. It was absolutely the best.
The groom wore a tailor made suit from Hammer-smith tailors. He had a black, brown checked suit on with a blue stripe. It was a three piece suit with a bow-tie.
The best man also wore a tailor made Hammer-smith it was slightly different colors but same style and also checked material.
They looked absolutely fabulous it took me by such a surprise when I saw the groom with his special suit.
I did not have any bridesmaids. My two sisters and my mother assisted me and helped me with all my arrangements and getting ready.
We used our family friend and Pastor. Pastor Johan van Rensburg married us it was such a privilege as he knows my family very well and we have shared a lot of other things together. The message he gave was, was to be always fair and considerate in our marriage towards one another. We couldn't have asked for a better and more special message.
