Highlight of the day was having my amazing family and friends around to support me on the day. It was a truly amazing feeling as the doors of the church opened and I walked down the isle with my dad. It was a beautiful Mass that will be remembered by all. I will never forget the look on my now husbands face as he saw me enter the church.
We went to Pine Lake Marina for our Honeymoon, spent a couple of wonderful days touring the surrounding areas.
My look was very elegant and simple. I had a beautiful dress that I bought from Lady J Bridal. My dress was beaded on the bodice as well as on the train of the dress. I loved it from the moment I put it on. My shoes had a little height and a touch of sparkle. My accessories were Fresh Water Pearls. My hair was done by a lovely young Hair dressing student Brenda, and my stunning makeup was done by a very good friend of mine Tracey Kriedmann who is a professional makeup artist in East London.
We got married at St Bernadette's Catholic Church, then had our reception at Thatchwoods.
Leading up to the wedding I was training almost every morning with my one bridesmaid. We did training to tone up for the wedding. I also went for tanning sessions @ Profiles Spa the week before the wedding.
We had our reception in a beautiful venue(Thatchwoods) surrounded by wood and twinkle lights it set the perfect atmosphere. I had lanterns, with tealights around with a single white rose in a little rose bowl all placed on a round mirror. on the lanterns were white feather butterflies. The theme through out the wedding was teal and butterflies.
The Groom and Groomsmen wore Charcoal suits hired from Heinz suit hire, together with Teal ties and pocket handkerchief's made by Heather @ Chocolates for breakfast.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful Teal colour dresses that were made by Heather @ Chocolates for Breakfast.
They were elegant and a perfect match to our style of wedding.
The wedding photographer was Deryck and Karen Foster from KD Photography. They are wonderful and full of fun when taking your special moments.
No wedding planner, I did it all myself with the help of my two bridesmaids and my mom.
The food for the wedding was done by Christie at Thatchwoods and was truly amazing. The wedding cake was made by Shirley at Serendipity Cakes.
I designed my own Stationery and had it printed by Cameron @ Xerox printing.
Our Reception was truly magical, with all the lanterns and fairy lights, we had a awesome DJ who did the sound and lighting(Occasions DJ's) We didn't go for any dance lessons, we practiced at home to our song before hand.
