I absolutely loved my wedding day and would not change any moment. A true highlight was seeing everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor and dancing like they didn't have a worry in the world.
The whole day will be a great memory to remember but in particular a moment i will always cherish is seeing my Husband when i walked down the aisle, seeing him get a little emotional melted my heart.

I went for a very classic and simple hairdo with soft curls and braids. I added my veil and a beautiful diamond head clip to finish off the look.
When it came to my make up i added a splash of my wedding colour (grape) along with some glitter for a beautiful photo ready look.
My shoes were tricky as i bought so many pairs of heels as i could not decide which were more pretty and then i became sensible and went with beautiful flat tie slops with bedazzles everywhere.
My wedding dress was a show stopper designed by Oleg Cassini and i would not swap it for anything. It made me feel like a queen and it truly is one of a kind.

We got married at The Bridge in Muldersdrift. What a beautiful and intimate wedding venue.
Full of trees and beautiful flowers and to top it all of why not add a river that flows right through the whole venue with a bridge to walk over and view everything that is so beautiful about this venue.
when it comes to my decor all i can say is BEAUTIFUL. i had a picture in my head and my wedding venue made it come to life. My flowers looked so beautiful and everything just worked so well together. Holly the Manager at The Bridge helped us co-ordinate a beautiful day and helped us match designs and colours together and the end result was picture perfect. The groom and groomsmen looked absolutely stunning and charming in their matching outfits and silly socks. They looked dashing in all black and a hint of the beautiful grape colour and to finish it all of we added a rose to sweeten their outfits.
My two Bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful in floor length Grape coloured dresses. it was so much fun looking for their dresses and when we couldn't find the right design we decided to have them made.
We were married by the Reverend at our church. Reverend Audrey was so amazing and guided us through all the emotional steps during our service and made it one that we will never forget.
Our photos were done by Firefly Photography and i must say WOW. I look at my photos and i cant believe how breathtaking they are. Retha (the photographer) has such an eye for the right lighting and angles and i am so glad that they took so many wonderful photos of our special day. I planned the big day without the help of a planner, but had the help and support from my Husband, my mother and sisters and from my husbands mother. Together we were a team that was and is still unstoppable!
Our food was prepared by our venues kitchen and i must say it was not a let down of a meal but an amazing three course dinner.
Our cake was done by Lucy Marshall, she is the in house baker and she made us a beautiful and elegant double tear cake draped with beautiful purple orchids.
I had all of my wedding stationary designed and printed by BMade Cards.
