Yes, we did. We had an amazing honeymoon in Zanzibar.
All inclusive, 7 day stay at the Paradise Beach Resort in Uroa Bay.
Buffet three times a day, all day cocktails on the beach or next to the pool.
Excursions with Mudy Tours in Zanzibar, snorkeling, visits to islands around Zanzibar and many more.
It was amazing.
I had a body fitted , white dress, that flares out at the bottom. The edges of the train had big pieces of lace on. The upper part of the dress also had lace around the edges, heart shaped and thin laces over my shoulder (small stones). The back was the highlight of the dress for me, low back with a lot lace trimmings.
I absolutely loved my dress and would not change a thing. Thanks to Ilze Delport, from Vanderbijlpark, my dress was perfect.
I wore charcoal colored high heels and earrings.
My something blue was a navy garter, made out of navy lace, also by Ilze.
My veil was white, long and also had lace trimmings on the edges.
We got married at this hidden gem called Imperfect Perfection, in Tierpoort Pretoria. The venue is absolutely stunning and unique. The two ladies, the coordinators, are without any doubt the best wedding organizers ever. They made our wedding as stress free as possible and in the end everything was more than perfect, and I can’t name one thing that was not in place or think about something that did not go according to plan.
The food is prepared and cooked to absolute perfection and the best I’ve ever tasted. It is also presented in a very classy way.
The venue is surrounded with accommodation, that is not to far to drive, or even in some cases walk. The closest accommodation is walking distance from the venue, called the Bus Stop.
The venue itself offers exclusive accommodation for the bride and groom and their families.
I’ve been a client of Tammy Taylor Nails for a few years now. My nails was from the best, Megan at Tammy Taylor Nails Vanderbijlpark.
We went for the natural look with a touch of rose gold.
The tables were placed at the side of the hall, all long, rectangular tables.
The flowers were all made up of greenery and whites. We chose to have a lot of greenery hanging from above the tables, which looked amazing. The flowers and decor on the table itself, was very minimalistic, but the flowers above the table really made an impression.
Decor on the table consisted of rose gold geometric shapes and rose gold vases and white candle holders.
The groom had a light grey suit, with a white shirt, and a darker shade of grey tie. His groomsmen had charcoal trousers, white shirts and a light brown color tie, made out of real leather.
They all had brown shoes.
My bridesmaids all had dove grey infinity dresses, which they all wore in a different way.
Their hair was curled slightly. They also had brown shoes, and a light grey wooden earring.
They had a green and white bouquet, which looked so nice.

Noleen and Lene from Imperfect Perfection. Best organizers and wedding planners by far.
The venue provided all of the food, including our wedding cake.
The wedding cake was a naked cake, made with vanilla sponge cake and sour cream icing.
