We've met before when he was dating one of my best friends(not a serious relationship - 1 month I think) and I never paid any attention to him because the reality was we were from two very different worlds. We bumped into him at checkers one day and he knew one of the girls that I was with and they started talking. I stayed for a while, but he never once looked at me. I was obviously not very impressed and told my one friend this guy really thinks too much of himself, lol. I decided to finish our shopping so long (very disappointed that this very hot guy paid no attention to me). Then a while after my cousins and I went for pizza and we bumped into him again and his friends. We knew one of his friends and started talking to him. Quinton came and stood right in front of me and he asked me if I was the girl from checkers the other day. He wanted my number, but I told him if he'd like my number, he will have to get it from someone else because I am not giving it to him. We parted ways and after one week he added me on Mxit. And started dating after 2weeks.
It was my birthday and we've been dating for 5 years and a few months. Quinton took me out on the most exciting day ever. I went to the salon the morning in Cape Town and he told me that he booked a room, because it would be too late to drive back to Kuils River after our day. I suspected nothing, because it was my birthday after all. He took me on the Red bus ( which I wanted to do since we moved to Cape Town). We had lunch on the beach and he made reservations at Pigalle for dinner. I was blown away and started to suspect something was up. But, after we had an AMAZING dinner, he didn't propose. I was a bit disappointed of course, but decided that it is not a big deal since he did say it was just for my birthday. We got to the hotel and he told me he has one more present for me. He closed my eyes with a scarf and took me inside. He told me to open my eyes. When I took the scarf off, there was rose petals everywhere and he was on one knee.
Walking in at the ceremony with my dad and seeing my husband
We went to Bergsicht in Tulbagh and to the Dolphin Dunes in the Wilderness.
My dress was made by Gail from a Pinterest image and my shoes was purchased online, Zando. Our colors were cappucino, navy and gold. So when I saw that cappuccino shoes online, I knew that it was mine.
One of my bridesmaids did my hair. I didn’t have anything specific in mind, so she improvised and it worked amazingly.
My make up was done by Jaydé, and I wanted a natural and romantic look.
My jewellery was purchased at Lovisa.
Groenrivier Function Centre. Yes, they have accommodation at the venue.
A wonderful country venue set in the heart of one of Cape's most beautiful valleys.
Well, we didn't have any money left for treatments, etc. since the two of us paid for everything. I DIY'd.
The venue provided the fairylights and tables. We’ve purchased our flowers from Bunches for Africa and did the arrangements ourselves. A family friend did our decor, Tonia September. Was amazing.
The groomsmen had nude suits and the groom navy blue. Everything was hired from Mr Suit Hire @ Cape Gate.
We've downloaded the designs from Pinterest. It was a nude dress with long sleeves.
The lady that made my dress, made my bridesmaid's dresses aswell.

He is very special to us, so the ceremony was very emotional!

He captured most our special moments, so we know him and we’re comfortable with him. And also he’s amazing!
And our photobooth was hand made by my husband’s uncle. It was an amazing surprise.
No, I planned everything myself.
There was no need for transport.
We’ve purchased our cake from The red velvet cake co.
The food was prepared by the venue.
We did it ourselves.
No lessons, but rocked it. We did the normal slow dance on 'I choose you' by Neo and then we did a 'lekka' item to open the dance floor. We had a DJ
