Our wedding day was in the middle of the winter, but our love for each other made us snuggly and warm the whole day.
The only wish we had for the day was to feel God's presence. We did in so many ways, but especially with the feet wash, Communion and the prayer our pastor prayed to us during the ceremony.
We will never forget this day as it was the day we became one and will be together forever.
We went on honeymoon at Waterberg Game Park for a week and it was the best vacation of our lives! We spent our time getting to know each other more deeply, admire the nature and God's handwork and also just enjoying our new lives together.
The last thing I wanted was for my groom to not recognise me. So I tried to show who I am in my wedding look. My dress was blush pink (Made by Fantasy Bridal Wear) as it represented my soft personality. My make up (Done by Blooming Blush Makeup Artistry) was natural with a bit drama as it represented the way I am. I wore boots, a bracelet and a choker as accessories to compliment my look.
We tied the knot at La Rosaleda Venue and the beauty of the venue totally made us fall in love with everything! The people who helped us with the arrangements were so nice and the food was something for the books!
The decor was simple but also romantic. We used Pennygum leaves and assorted flowers together with candles and wood circles to create a atmosphere of love and warmth.
We did our table numbers differently by using photos of both me and my husband at the age of the table number. The guests simply loved it!
My groom: We chose a navy blue suit with a brown bowtie together with a brown belt and brown stylish shoes. Groomsmen : They wore navy blue trousers with a white shirt and a burgundy bow tie together with brown suspenders and a brown belt and brown shoes.
My bridesmaids looked beautiful with their navy blue dresses that suited their bodies perfectly. They also chose burgundy pumps to match with the groomsmen and wore a bracelet that I gave them for a present.
Our Photographers was two of our good friends, but also amazing in what they do. They were from One Beat Photography.
The amazing food was provided by the venue and the people kept going for more!
Our wedding cake (made by Venelize Events & Catering) was a competition prize and it absolutely tasted delicious!
