The day felt magical from begining to the end, I started the day being pampered by my best friend and dressing up. I truly felt like a princess. The highlight for me was walking into stage surrounding by loved ones and seeing lionel for the first time. I enjoyed every moment after that, especially the reception where we reflected on our years together and memories made with friends and family.
We went to Drakensburg to stay at Ama Casa cottages, this was very nostalgic for us as when Lionel proposed he took me on a suprise trip to the same cottage. It was a relaxed and beautiful stay where we reflected on the wedding.
When we decided to get married in 2016 I went on a trip with my mum to India where I was on a quest to find my dream wedding outfit. I was pleasantly suprised in Mumbai where I found just the perfect outfit for me. I was dressed by Nadia Motala who is a hair and make-up specialist in durban. I bought my shoes from bride & co and all my accessories from a local India fair in Durban.
We found our dream wedding venue in eston, a placed called Sweethome Wedding venue, they also have accomadation available however we did not stay due to the pre- wedding festivities that happen the week before the wedding.
I spent some time in a local gym trying to maintain my figure for the wedding, before the big day I underwent a facial peel and that was about it.
My decor was done by Events by Design I wanted a simple rustic feel to the wedding. All the furniture was provided by the venue and our beautiful flower arrangements was from Tees florist.

The bridemaids had free reign and wore their own choice of Indian attire.
We had got registered after the wedding
Our photographer was Adhir from BridalTech, he captured every detail from the wedding and came with his own assistant and also referred me to Sahil from Filmco who videographed our big day.
I did most of the planning and had alot of input from my friends and family.
We were driven by our relatives cars
Our food was provided by Events by design who did our decor as well. The cake was amde by mixes cake deco in pinetown.
My friend and I did all of the stationary usually during a fun filled sleepover.
We learnt some dance moves from youtube and that was about it! Our Dj was Lionels cousin.
