Our entire wedding day was one big highlight but the moments that stand out the most to me was walking down the isle and seeing Louis face when he saw me for the first time. My dad also kept the mood light by tripping over my wedding dress and asking Louis for his Labola as he gave me away. Part of our ceremony was using holy communion together for the first time as husband and wife and our guest were invited to participate with us. This was a very special moment for us.
Getting ready with my mom and bridal party, actually getting married and then dancing the night away with all my friend and family are memories that I will cherish forever!
We went on a magical honeymoon to the Maldives. We went to Meeru Island and it was the perfect holiday! We just relaxed on the beautiful island and enjoyed each others company.
I went for a classical look on my wedding day. My dress was a lace A-Line ballgown with lots of detail on the back. My dress was designed and made by Mariska Pfahl Couture. My make up was done by Gerda from Making Faces by Gerda. We went for a more natural look with emphasis on my eyes and cheekbones. My lovely hairdresser that has been with me for years, Pikkie, did my curly side do. I have very fine hair and was very stressed that I wouldn't get a style that would work for me, but with the help of Pikkie and some clip in hair extensions I had the most beautiful wedding hair and felt like a princess.
My dress was very busy so I didn't wear a lot of jewelry. I wore crystal teardrop earrings from Lovisa, and my mother borrowed me a pair of small pearl studs for my something borrowed. Louis surprised me with a amazingly beautiful Swarovski bracelet on the day of the wedding that I wore.
My shoes were sparkly silver Ombre kitten heels that I found in a local boutique in the Vaal.

I didn't have a special beauty regime leading up to the wedding. I had a manicure and pedicure done by Sorbet the week of the wedding
