After 8 years 11 months and 10days he finally got to tie the sacred thread around my neck, adorn my forehead with the holy red dot and most importantly make me his wife legally by signing the marriage certificate. Another big highlight of the day was us doing our creative shoot @ Ushaka Marine world as we first met at this very venue became friends , then dated which led to us making this day a highlight of our lives.
We went to our own place the first night and left for Wild Coast the next day where we celebrated our honeymoon for a week.
It took me nearly 9 months to find my saree as I wanted a blood red colour with a soft silk feel with stone works that sparkled . I eventually found it at a store I've been to twice namely Rosewood boutique at Game city. I also purchased my shoes and bangles from this shop. My hair was done by Unique Brides by Arthie whom I booked and paid almost a year before my wedding who did an amazing job . My nails was by nailsbyNikki from Phoenix.
I got married at DLI Hall which is in Greyville , Durban . I booked the hall last year end of May .Most of our guests are from Durban.

The groom had worn a gold suit and white shirt with a red tie and pocket hankie to match the saree. The suit was made in India as the groom had given a description and measurement to the owner of Rosewood Boutique(Aunty Sandy) and she had gotten just has he asked. His shoes was a Carvela bought at Spits in Gateway. His socks and Cufflinks were Polo brand which was bought at Shadows in Gateway .
Our bridesmaids wore Lenghas. Its one of the latest trend going in Durban for the young especially which looks like a saree when tied but is actually a skirt and top that is designed to your liking.
