After many late nights of planning, hours of setting up and rushing to get everything done the day finally arrived. Set out on a cozy yet majestic small holding with a rustic theme it was time to say I do.
Firstly the special feeling of being nervous but also so much excitement is the first thing I will never forget. The feeling of getting ready to say your vows and promise to love and support your soul mate for the rest of your life.
Our very special furr children Ava and Dexter helped us celebrate this amazing day by bringing our rings down the aisle, which also helped calm the nerves for my husband and i. The whole experience was absolutely unforgettable not just because of the special first dance we shared together or the beautiful table settings and kind words that were said in the speeches but, because of the feeling i had while we were sharing that moment infront at the cermony, thousands of emotions rushing through your mind and i felt a bond between us two that is now engraved into my heart.ur wedding day.. where do I start to explain all the special and momorable moments!
Daniel and I went on Honeymoon a week after our wedding day. We both decided to go to Hogsback. We spent the weekend there and it was completely magical. We experienced snow on our last day and it was our first time seeing snow. We decided on our first year anniversary we will revisit Hogsback again.
Our wedding colours were Mint and gold and theme was rustic. I had a upstyle and my make-up was very natural but still elegant. I decided to be different and choose a gorgeous ivory dress, mermaid style but a very light comfortable dress that will allow me to enjoy my wedding day to the fullest. My jewellery was my something borrowed from my mother inlaw a beautiful gold pearl ring, rosegold earings and one cuff. My underwear was something blue.
We had a small, simple but amazing succulent wedding. We got married on a small holding in Kragga Kamma, Greenshield Lakeside.
The only regime was trying not to pull all my hair out at one time.
Daniel and I did all our décor ourselves on the Friday. Our wedding decor was mainly succulents, candles and fairylights. We hired our wooden tables and underplates from Lea draping. Our chairs, plates and draping was done by Extreme Hire. Their service was amazing and they supported us. My flowers were done by Flowers etc in Lorraine.
I wore a grey slim fit tailored suit which I had done by TidyTux tailors, I also had a grey waistcoat with a different texture, brown leather boots purchased at woolies, brown leather belt, underware and socks from Markhams as well as a mint tie, I also had a wrist watch with leather straps(identity). My groomsman wore khaki cheenos, white shirts and mint ties.
Bought their dresses at Jessica's Fassion metlife plaza. Top part of dresses were white and bottom mint.

No we practiced our first dance in our kitchen a 3 months before wedding this was extremely fun moments filled with laughter and joy! Our DJ was Riaan van Huysteen.
