Walking down the aisle, I was completely shaking and full of adrenalin. The minute I walked into the church, with my Dad at my side, all of our friends and family around me and my husband at the alter, I became much more relaxed and just felt excitement. To me, the highlight of the day was simply the saying I do, because I knew that was committing to the man I have loved since we were 10 years old, as well as our first dance. Other memorable moments was the Father/Daughter dance, the speeches that made us laugh until we cried and dancing until 2am with all of our family and friends.

For our Honeymoon, we went to the The Cavern Drakensberg Resort and Spa for 4 days.
For my wedding look, I went with a long sleeve, soft Mermaid style dress with laced arms, an open back, a beaded bodice and a plain cream white bottom with a veil that went just below the waist. The dress I bought in Germany from a store called Honeymoon in Duesseldorf. My shoes were plain white pointed toed heels with a glitter strip across the toes and the only earrings I wore were long ones with 3 Diamantes, which I bought from the same store. My hair was done with Riani Roets in Pretoria, who created a vintage curled updo. For my make up, I decided to do it myself and I used the Morphe Jaclyn Hill pallete to create a gold/burgundy smokey eye, with a Barry M nude Matte liquid lipstick, and a Champagne Highlighter from the Rose Palette by BH cosmetics.
The Groom wore a dark blue checkered suite and the groomsmen wore Dark Grey suites, which were all purchased at Sedgars in Vereeniging. They each had a single rose in their pocket, also provided by Memory Lane Creations
