We got married on the same day as the Royal Wedding and honestly we had ourselves a royal affair of our own making.
A definite highlight was finally getting to walk down the aisle (even though I was an hour late). Seeing Tristen's face light up and spotting all the faces I know and love made me want to well up with tears of joy.
We did the Christian feet washing tradition that is not really common to do at a wedding. It was definitely a highlight of the day.
We went down to the South Coast for our honeymoon, Ramsgate to be exact. Middle of May turned out to be the perfect time to be at the coast. Temperatures were perfect, with blue skies and sunshine for most of the days. The beaches were pretty empty on most days.
