My absolute highlight was walking down the aisle and looking into my future husbands eyes. His face (and tears) told me the full story of how much he loves me. We had a very intimate wedding (60 guests) which was very personal especially standing up at the alter and turning around to see all my closest family & friends witness our marriage.
Mark & I went on honeymoon the following Friday to Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge which is near God's Window. We had a lovely self catering chalet unit, which had the most amazing sweeping views of the forest & gorge. We spoilt ourselves to the Spa (a few times!) and went on game drives. It was a very relaxing and much needed break for us both.
I've never been a fan of traditional wedding gowns and just could not find anything that I was completely in love with. Thankfully one of my longest and best friends (who was also my bridesmaid) is a bridal couture designer! Jessica Jane Designs literally made my gown from A-Z, including all design work and physically sewing on my detail with much patience and precision. It was an absolute honour to wear a gown made by one of my best friends!

Our special day was held at Oxbow Country Estate which was absolutely breath taking! The service levels and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. All of our guests stayed over at the venue in their super comfortable rooms. This was very special as we were then able to enjoy breakfast the following morning with all our guests.

We decided to work with the super talented Michelle at Oopsie Daisy Flowers. Nothing was too much and we were very pleased with the final results of our décor and flowers on the day. They set up everything for us, so myself nor bridal party had to worry about the thing!
I loved the colour combination of navy blue, blush pink & rose gold with lots and lots of floral. We had mood lighting (blush) around the venue to give us a romantic evening light. We went into a lot of details for the guests which added to our personality and gave it a personal touch.

Mark (my husband) purchased his 3 piece suit from Eurosuit (on Witkoppen Road) near Sunninghill/Rivonia. The three groomsman hired their outfits from here too.
For the groomsman, we went with Navy Blue trousers, white collared shirt, tan/brown belt with shoes & suspenders. They were comfortable and looks super handsome!
