Walking down the Aisle with my Dad next to me and seeing my Future Husband for the first time. A feeling I will never forget.
We went to the South Coast. San Lameer Country Estate for 8 lovely days.
I went for a well fitted, elegant, romantic style.
My hair was braided in a soft, curly, loose french side plait with some volume at the top and front. We also added some Rose gold flower clips in my hair for bling and to finish of the style.
My Veil was very long to enhance the romantic style I was going for.
My Make-up artist was just the best, I will recommend her to anyone. I had a natural eye with Pink and Copper to bring in some definition, with very dramatic Lashes and a nude pink Lip. My contouring was also done beautifully with some bronze undertones.
My Wedding Dress- Was well fitted with a long lace train. The flower pattern lace was repeated on the high neck line of the dress working it's way down to my bodes and ended at my hips. The rest of my dress was made from a very fine netting.
Shoes- I wore a type of Ballroom Shoe with a medium height heel. The shoe was Rose Gold with blings over the whole shoe.
Jewellery- Small pearl teardrop earrings with a Rose Gold Diamond, and a dainty Rose Gold Bracelet.

We had a small, intimate wedding. Most of our guests stayed the night at the wedding venue. They were able to accommodate 28 guests. The other guests stayed over close to the venue.
I follow a very strict skin care regime as I am a qualified Somatologist. I make use of a product called Esse, an organic skincare range.
I went for two facials, one 2 months before the wedding (hydating facial) and the other, one month before the wedding (peel).
Before the wedding I had 8 tan can sessions - 2 each week to ensure that I do not get a sunburn. I did not follow a healthy eating plan although I did scale down on my sweet cravings. I also went to the gym four times a week.
Spa treatments before the wedding - I had a full body massage, full pedi, mani with acrylic sculptures as well as an eyebrow wax, lip wax & eyebrow tint.
My color scheme was navy, rose gold and white. Bare wooden tables with a navy runner. In the center of the table I had a rose gold curved stand with a hanging hexagon structure filled with cream roses and eucalyptus. Eucalyptus were also draped on the runner for a rustic feel and small rose gold hurricane glass pots were filled with cream roses. Rose gold under plates were accompanied by white tinted wine glasses and white napkins. A navy personalized menu was placed on top of the white napkin. White Tiffany chairs were placed around the table decorated with navy satin ribbon and eucalyptus for a more modern type of tie back. The mood was set with yellow fairy lights in the venue as well as on the floating dance floor outside.
Wooden décor was utilized for the confetti stand, direction arrows, gift envelope box, ring box, guest book and for the seating plan and program.

Natural make-up look with a pinkish lip and rose gold coloured pearl earrings.
Their hair was braided in a side french plait that went into a messy curly bun at the back, accessorized with gip flowers.

It was a pleasure to work with them as they are such spontaneous and bubbly individuals. They made us feel very special and comfortable in front of the camera by making jokes and laughing with us.
The venue has a permanent photo booth setup with a wooden pallet back drop and a dusty pink french wing-back chair. The photographers brought funny and decorative props to take memorable photos with our guests.
I did all of the wedding planning by myself. My left hand was my mom and my right hand, my maid of honor, Nadeane.
The venue is situated on a plot just outside of Pretoria therefore we made use of 2 white Ranger bakkies decorated with a navy ribbon.
The food was prepared by the venue which was absolutely delicious.
The wedding cake was made by Chanelle from Bite-sized Bee Cakes and pastries, Garsfontein, Pretoria.
My maid of honor is a woman of many talents. She designed all of my stationery from the menu to the small thank you card on the thank you gift. All of the designs were then printed by Minuteman Press, Montana, Pretoria.
We didn't take any dance lessons as we are Afrikaans and love to "langarm". We had a DJ, Charl Brecher, from Fame productions that did our sound and lighting. It was thanks to him that everyone danced the night away.
