Not yet, even though it was booked for but due to work related reasons we had to move it to the third week of September 2018.
Wow! A dream come true wedding day!
As the baby girl I drew up having a specific picture of my wedding day. What I always had in mind was turned to be such a pleasant reality by me, my husband, family and friends. My wedding was also inspired by 2018 Wedding EXPO.
We wanted to get married at a multi-purpose venue where we would have all that we needed for our day to be perfect just around the corner. Out of many wedding venues which we had viewed, the venue that became our choice was EnGedi and it had provided us with exactly what we needed. The venue is positioned in The Cradle of Humankind, EnGedi provided us with a natural haven that we were longing for on this day. EnGedi's beautiful chapel could accommodate all of our guests and their commanding banqueting hall managed to cater for all my guest (200) including my vendors. T&N Classy Creations was responsible for the fresh smell and feel inside the hall. What would be a wedding without good music? Thanks to DJ Kings for good music and the lighting services provided on the day.
Thanks to my church for prayers and helping us say "I do". Just before I said those words, I had a sumptuous bath in the centre of the room set against a triangular designed mirrored wall that allowed me to bathe and relax in absolute opulence and my husband to be was also taken care of in his suit. Critzdor Salon in Randburg took care of my hair the day before the wedding but I had Beauty Basin Salon taking care of my face and hair for the day and a friend of mine did a neat and beautiful work to my nails.
My dress, there is a long story behind the dress that has inspired so many women, from the ladies who assisted me at Bride&Co (where the dress was purchased), my family, friends and colleagues. With my body shape in mind, ball gown type of dress was the best option I could go for after doing a number of fittings with different stores and that was the best choice made. My lingerie and accessories was also from Waterfront Bride&Co. There was nothing more than comfortability I was looking for in the shoe I was going to wear on my wedding day and at Edgars I could get exactly what I was looking for.
I believe that diamonds are every girls best friend. Thanks to Grand Diamonds in Cape Town, our custom made rings came out to be exactly what we have asked for.
The theme of the wedding reception was navy and gold colours. The outfits for both bridesmaids and groomsmen were tailored by Josiah from Cape Town.
Last but not least Pure D Photography and Video captured for us those sweet memories of our wedding day.

My fitness was taken care of at Randburg Virgin Active and Vincent was my personal trainer for a full month.
Thanks to Dr. Kazi (my doctor) who has always taught me how to take care of my well-being by understanding your body and knowing what it needs to function properly. This leaded to a beautiful skin on my wedding day.
EnGedi's package came with a lovely standard deco and there wasn't much of a need to add more to what they could offer except for flowers. T&N Classy Creations was responsible for the fresh smell and feel inside the hall. T&N Classy Creations maintained the elegancy look by providing fresh flowers on the day and some few elements of deco on the tables in the hall.
Sound and lighting services were provided by DJ Kings.
The outfits for both bridesmaids and groomsmen were tailored by Josiah from Cape Town.
As per our church wedding procedures, myself and the bridesmaids were in church sky blue dresses for the matrimonial service and they all changed to navy and gold dresses for the reception. These young, creative ladies came up with the brilliant idea of colour combination and the design of the dress. The dresses were tailored by Josiah who is located in Cape Town.

Pure D Photography and Video captured those beautiful memories for us. They are such a pleasant group of professionals to work with and they've helped us to well prepare ourselves for our wedding day.
Coordinator on day of the wedding was provided as part of the EnGedi wedding package. My husband and I did coordinate the planning and preparation of the day ahead and on the day my sister took over working hand in hand with coordinator which was provided by EnGedi.
There were no transport arrangements. My guests arrived with their own cars and the venue had enough parking space for my guests' cars.
Part of EnGedi wedding package was the Buffet and our lovely and delicious wedding cake was made by Cups and Cakes
My husband and I designed the stationery and it was printed by The Copy Shop in Randburg.
Thanks to DJ Kings for good music and the lighting services provided on the day. My husband and I are not good dancers, so we tried by all means on our wedding day to limit the time for us to dance to few seconds ha ha ha!
