I lost my dad in 2015 and his last words, I quote:" I am not going anywhere I have to walk you down the isle" He definitely did because I felt his presence and energy when I walked with my mom.
The energy and service at the church
When I saw the reception venue the décor, walking in cant forget the smell and breeze of the fresh flowers - Felt like I was in heaven - Usambara over done themselves.

When we had our first dance to our song it took me back to where it all started....
We asked Epic sounds to place a projector inside the venue as we wanted to play a power point of all my loved once pictures that had past. It was so beautiful and we felt that they were there with us at that moment. The reason behind all this was because since 2015 we lost a lot of our close family members... It has been the toughest and darkest years for us and my family hence we decided suddenly in December that we getting married in April it will be our wedding and we will be celebrating our parents birthday. Both our late fathers' share the same birthday which is the 12 April and my late mother in law her birthday is on the 10 April.
To have my mother there was all we could have asked for from the Lord because she witnessed everything and she was there to walk me down the isle - That was the greatest moment/highlight that I will forever cherish and forever be grateful to the Lord......
Sadly, no we did not go on a Honeymoon.
The theme was dusty pink with a dash of silver. Fresh flowers with a touch of elegancy.
Make up - Wanted to look natural and not have too much make up. Wanted to look like a princess.
Hair - Bun with just a clip
wedding dress - Wanted a Cinderella look ballroom dress, thanks to Wedding connexion they found me the perfect dress that had glitters so at night it glittered and I looked like a Princess.
Shoes - Simple elegant Dusty pink sandals with glitters which went well with my wedding dress and the theme
Lingerie - looked very sexy

Usambara Venue & Lodge

The guests did not sleep however myself, husband, my mother and sister slept at Usambara Lodge.

Stressful but the team at Usambara kept me calm. Looking for the perfect wedding dress, outfits for my flower girls and bridesmaids.

Usambara Venue and Lodge did everything . I can`t describe all I can say look at my album it was heaven. Johan Van Wyk and the team at Usambara over done themselves. The décor at the church , the garden venue where our guests were severed delicious finger foods and drinks not forgetting the sherry tree while we were taking pictures. The reception out of this world!

I did not have a wedding planner however on my wedding day Usambara venue had two of their professional staff members coordinate. Our guests and us were assembled and directed by them where to go wow you never at that at venues. Personal coordinator assigned for us on our wedding day. At the church they helped us go in and where well informed of everything. Usambara team did everything and I am still impressed with the service we received from them - they overdone themselves with everything. I recommend them. They professional and can tell they`ve been in the business for a while the warmth and friendliness it remarkably impressive you can tell they love what they do. Melisa Scheepers also did an exceptional job.

I drove myself with my brides maids as I had booked two rooms at Usambara venue. I prepared at the honeymoon suite and the groom at the second room that I had booked for my mother and sister.

No we did not take dance lessons but we killed the dance floor with our favourite song by Chris Brown - Forever
