On the 21st of April Michael and I promised to stand by each others side forever; as a team, as husband and wife. After five years of fun, adventure and love it was our next big step and nothing could have prepared me for how astoundingly perfect and beautiful our day would be. Meticulous planning led to a relaxed stress free day. My four beautiful bridesmaids compiled a perfect playlist and we sipped champagne while the men relaxed in the man cave. Magic: No other word can describe the feeling of being a bride, and as my father walked me down the aisle and I saw the man of my dreams I was once again reminded that fairytales do come true. And in true princess fashion we danced the night away. Every moment perfect, every tear cherished and true love all around. My wedding was the perfect celebration of family, joy and two becoming one. I would not change a single second making every part of the day a highlight.
Of course the fairytale continued... to Bali! The people, the food, the company... No destination could have been more perfect. Surrounded by people who believe that what you give the world is returned to you, we celebrated with cocktails on the beach, glorious meals and some good old sightseeing, absorbing the local culture to the full.

The venue also has a guest house, Man Cave and Bridal Suite.
I am a ballet teacher so I used my daily job to get fitter by dancing more in all my classes. Bi-monthly dermalogica facials at Sorbet helped keep my skin happy and healthy.
My decor and flowers were expertly curated and designed by Maryke at Love & Grace Wedding and Event Design. Maryke attended to every detail making sure she gave me exactly what I wanted. The venue has a rustic yet vintage charm and I decided to pair this with an industrial yet vintage-glam look. I used sequence rose gold runners over soft peachy white floor length table cloths. Rose gold geometric shapes with rose gold candle sticks and votives were used to create height and variation. Greenery and a centre piece of either a protea in a glass cloche or a tall crystal candelabra finished off the look. Glass under-plates and grey serviettes went along with my menus on which the guests names were printed. The bridal table had a long floral feature adorned with proteas, barbeton daisies, and a myriad of fresh perfectly selected flowers. The colour palette was blush, rose gold and grey. The tables were long wooden tables accompanied by tiffany chairs (Included in the venue hire). The bridal table had a hollywood style Mr & Mrs sign with fairy lights cascading behind the table. A Hollywood style LOVE sign stood on the opposite side of the bridal table next to the confectionary and DJ table. A rose gold drip ombre blush cake with a Mickey and Minnie mouse cake topper served as a centre piece for the sweets table.

August Photography is a husband and wife team, and both Karina and Eugene work together to capture the most incredible photos that use natural lighting and a skilled eye. Each and every photo is unique and no other team could have captured our day as well as them. To top it off they are beautiful human beings who added to the spirit of fun and laughter at the wedding. Their package included an engagement shoot, photo booth, 9 hours of shooting, a wedding book, a save the date card designed by ENCO and 2 A3 photos printed on wood. Antonio del Mei is a personal friend of ours. He captured our wedding day spectacularly, showing sincere moments and highlighting special details of the day.
