Our Wedding day was such a special day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We had so many memorable moments from the time I walked down the aisle with my mother looking at the love of my life with tears of joy in his eyes to the moment of receiving an emotional gift from my uncle which was a locket with a picture of my late father which was in a butterfly on my dress on my shoulder confirming he was by my side the whole time. We are both incredibly blessed.
Yes we went to Mauritius on our honeymoon for 8 nights. This was made possible by our amazing guests who contributed to our honeymoon bridal registry. It was such an relaxing time after all the stresses we had with planning the wedding we had a wonderful time!
My wedding look was princess inspired. My hair and makeup was done by Tammy Howard. My dress was very special as it was made by my uncle. It was a ball gown that had purple butterflies on a detachable skirt. My shoes were from Miladys. My beautiful purple stone pendant and earrings were from Honey jewellery.
We got married at our Church we attend Kloof Harvest Church. Our wedding reception was at Westville Country Club.
Health and fitness: I followed my own programme of eating healthy and exercising.
Skin: I am prone to dark circles under my eyes so I got natures nourishment vitamin E eye cream which did wonders!
The color scheme for our wedding was different shades of purple with white and a dash of silver with butterflies. The table decor was simple and elegant. We used fish bowls we hired from Highway function Hire and Wooden disks from Shells of Decor and Coordination. We had water beads and snowdon flowers inside the fishbowls accompanied with some butterflies and fairy lights. Our draping with fairy lights was done by seating plan. My amazing mother did all the church flower arrangements and bouquets, Corsages and button holes.
My groom wore a charcoal grey suit from Edgars with a Purple tie. His groomsmen wore black pants with white shirts with a purple tie.
My bridesmaids each wore a different shade and style of purple dress made by my uncle.

We had such a beautiful and memorable ceremony.
Our very talented and energetic photographer was Charmain Bezuidenhout from Black Roses photography and she was accompanied by Kristin Terwin from KS Photography and Co who did our wonderful wedding highlight video. Charmain not only took such beautiful photos, she went out of her way to ensure I was calm and everything was running smoothly for the day. Her support for the entire period up to the big day was phenomenal. My Very Talented Husband made a photobooth frame out of pallet wood and we bought our own props. We had a guest photo book using a Polaroid instant camera which the guests did during cocktail hour.

My mom and sister decorated my blue Toyota Corolla with purple ribbons, which I was transported in driven by one of my cousins.
Our wedding reception Venue Westville Country Club prepared the food for our wedding.
Lamb spit with a variety of sides.
Chocolate brownies with ice cream and cheese cake for dessert.
My sister did our beautiful and delicious red velvet wedding cake with cupcakes.
Bizlink printed all our wedding stationary and did a fantastic job!
We had a DJ Kyle Halse from Music 2 move, he did all our sound and lighting.
