Well it started when they just moved in. I saw him and some how I just had to know who he was.
Then one day he saw someone who looks similar to me, asked the 7 year old who use to visit by them if that boy knows who this girly was. This boy confidently said yes, Barry passed his number to this 7year old boy to give to that girl.
While on my side, I asked tgisbsamw boy who is that(Barry). He gave me the download on Barry and then I asked him to give my number to Barry. Same day barry gave his number to him.
Added each other on mxit and started chatting.
Apparently I wasn’t the girl he saw but a few months later he asked me if I would be his girlfriend. That day he waited for me to get back from Pretoria, on a bike

We went fishing the 27th April 2017, I was far away from him while he sent my dad a WhatsApp message to find out if him and his parents could come and see my parents.
My mom on the other hand sent me a message “hoekom wil barry se Ma en pa ons sien”, I just laughed and replied saying “mammie kan ook nie a secret hou nie”
So while we fishing I sent my besties messages and I was like I think his going to ask my parents. Same day got me in the car, then asked them.
Ordered my ring online, got the wrong size but it’s fine.
So the ring arrives in South Africa, the Thursday and I want to see it but I control myself. So for that whole week we have been doing some exercises.
So the weekend of the 7th of May goes by and then I forgot about the ring. Sunday night we busy with the exercises and completed it.
Barry asked me if we have hugg in a mug left, I get up while he is still on the floor he takes my hand and asks me “sal jy met my Trou”
When I woke up, my dad had some music playing. My eyes filled up knowing that it was the 14th April. My mom came and said “it’s a beautiful day to get married”
We won the honeymoon competition in the Nubian bride magazine and went during the July holidays to Umthunzi Hotel.
I didn’t want to over do it. Although my dress looks simple when I tried it on I knew this was the one.

Shoes- I ended up adding some bling which was my sissy boy shoes

Used candles and bottles to help light up the place
We won some brides maids dress at the Cape Town wedding expo from the Kameo range.
We chose something that they can wear again.
