We spent an adventurous couple of days on Reunion Island and relaxed in Mauritius afterwards.
The only way I can describe my wedding look is that it was truly me.
Make-up:
I wanted to do my best to keep my look natural and elegant. Peach Cronje Make-Up Artistry managed to make my hair and make-up natural, but bold.
Dress:
My dress, made by Cindy Bam, fit me perfectly and made me feel comfortable in my own skin whilst letting me do some twists and tricks on the dance floor. It was made of milk white lace and had tiny pearl details. My veils were made by my mother who sowed on small crystals, pearls and lace by hand - a real dream come true.
Accessories:
My beautiful flower crown was made by Dear Idea - it made me feel like a fairy princess on the day. After the ceremony, I wore a hairpiece made by Katheen Barry which was sparkly with hints of soft pink and green. My beautiful pearl earrings were my 'something borrowed'. They were my mother's earrings she wore on her wedding day - this was definitely a highlight for me.
The overall feel of my wedding day look I would say was soft and flowy with lots of pearls - what more could a girl want.

We got married on Kaleo Guest Farm.
Service: A charming stone chapel on the farm.
Reception: Kaleo Guest Farm
Our guests did stay over. Our bridal party and family stayed in the beautiful cottages that Kaleo Guest Farm offers and Zulu Overland agreed to come set up tents for the other guests.
I tried to eat healthy, exercise regularly and paid attention to my skin when needed.
The tables, crockery, cutlery and most of the decor and furniture was set up by Kaleo Guest Farm's wonderful team. Our lighting, gold-rimmed underplates and champagne glasses were supplied by All Things Wedding.
The flowers were done by my creative mother with a little help from all of her four daughters (including me). We sourced most of it from Adene's Farm Flowers. There were also mossballs used as centerpieces (which now hang in a tree in my garden) sourced from Plantify. Most of my table decorations are still being used as I could not bare the thought that it all would go to waste.
The special moments were captured by the INCREDIBLE Aglow Photography. Celeste is an absolute dream to work with and we will forever be thankful for the timeless photographs we received, forever capturing our special day.
Our videographer was Aletta Francina - she was a silent ninja and we are so grateful to have a romantic film of our beautiful day.
We had a wonderful co-ordination team included with the venue hire, Alet Van Heerden and Conohick Ockhuis, which was an incredibly positive experience. They were extremely calm and accomodating - I am truly grateful for their hard work and support.
Myself and my husband (being absolute foodies) made sure that the food was an absolute highlight. It was prepared by the 'Pauline Schreuder Catering company. They were extremely friendly and the food was delicious and on-time.
We had the best harvest table I have ever seen and they refilled until every single person had enough to eat. Ou main meals were kingklip fillets and also lamb shanks for the red meat eaters. We had a range of small desserts which inlcuded small 'melktert' milkshakes and creme brulee.
Our wedding cake was a flowery brownie tower made by Adele Peloi from Cafe Perlina. It was beautiful and disappeared in the wink of an eye.
We did all our stationary ourselves - with loads of help from my little (very creative) sister, Elizabeth Rademan.
We had a first dance full of tricks and twists, choreographed by Miss Van der Westhuizen at Expressions Dance Studio Durbanville.
Our DJ, Chris Gore from Event Music Solutions, was incredible. He could read the crowd and had loads of energy.
