wow.. where to begin?! My first memorable moment was just being with my awesome bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. They made me feel so special and calmed me. The second moment was when my mom put my veil on. Walking down the isle with my step dad, and then half way through my dad took over and gave me away was very special. Seeing my husband's face for the first time was very special. Both of us crying. Our little boy was our ring bearer, making it so special for him to share the day with us. He actually stole our spotlight...
We went to the 5star Azura Benguerra Island on the coast of Mozambique and Bazzaruto. Most amazing island to spend our honeymoon.
I hired my dress from Whimsical Bridal. My dress's name is Olivia - Rebecca Ingram from Maggie Sottero. I saw my dress on facebook and just knew that i wanted to get married in that dress. Our wedding theme was rustic/country, so wanted a dress with lace. A school friend of mine did our hair and make-up. Went for a classic up style with detail hair accessories. And smokey eye make-up. I wore blue lingerie for my "something blue". My jewellery were pearls and diamante as my dress had pearls on. I wore pure white pumps to feel comfortable the whole night.
We got married at Waenhuiskraal in Bapsfontein. Its a farm with a rustic venue. Guests could sleep in log cabins and tents.
Our decor was vintage/rustic themed. We had all the different kinds of cattle as table names. We used all types of protea's and loof as flowers. Our wedding colours were white and dusty pink.
The groom and groomsmen wore jeans and white shirts, with brown shoes, belts and suspenders. And pink ties to round off the look I wanted.
My bridesmaids wore infinity dresses. Each one in their own style, but in the same colour pink.

My husband's aunt made our wedding cake as a wedding gift. It was a 3 layered cake with fondant. The fondant was made to look like tree bark. And she added edible proteas. The Wedding venue had a buffet menu. The food was delicious.
We used the venue's dj and lighting. We took dance lessons for a first dance. We had a live 2 man band - "n Pel van my" who entertained the wedding guests after the ceremony, while we took our potos
