Like everybody's wedding day there are always little things that go wrong but there's absolutely nothing that can put a damper on a wedding couple's dream day.
If I think back to #123CampherMyself, I hear myself vowing to love Ignus faithfully through the difficult and easy times. That I will encourage him, trust him and respect him. That I will listen to him with compassion and understanding, that I would talk to him with encouragement.
The first big moment for me was the last minute with my dad and sister in the bakkie, when my sister looked at me with tears in her eyes saying “my baby sister is getting married, you look absolutely beautiful and I love you”. ‘One look at you, my whole life falls in line. I prayed for you before I called you mine’ this is the lyrics I hear when I had my favourite walk with my daddy down the aisle hand in hand.
With each step I give, one sees the droplets over his cheeks becomes more and more.
The second biggest moment (which I will only see once we receive our video) will be where Ignus and his sisters lit three candles in commemoration of their late mother. It was a very emotional moment for the three of them as well as our guest.
I think the most unforgettable moment for both of us was walking into the reception as Mr and Mrs Campher. The goosebumps, the content feeling you have in your heart. The excitement to see each family member or friend we love, to celebrate us and to know for that one moment, the world turns around us.
Yes, the #CampherMoon started in Dubai, ticking my Starbuck Coffee bucket list item, thereafter Mr. Campher spoiled me with a 5 night stay in Patong Beach and two nights on Phi Phi Islands.
As a little Karoo girl we decided to tie the knot on the farm where my roots were planted. Signature Divine was the perfect choice to make our life long promise to each other. Our guests stayed in different guesthouses in Oudthsoorn, but we stayed at Africa Inn, it’s incredibly beautiful there.

I planned our wedding day by the help of Pinterest and Google Docs.
Thanks to my parents and father-in-law we were able to get all the décor from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn.
Our wedding cake is also something I like to brag about. A very special friend baked the carrot cake for us – Mr. Campher demanded carrot cake. So again I would like to thank Roenel from Tihmily for the best wedding cake ever.
For a moment I had the opportunity to be a bridezilla. Like I always say, I’m blessed with the best. Mr. Campher has his own freelance graphic design business called Creative Broccoli.
