The highlight for me was seeing my groom when I entered the chapel. He looked absolutely dashing. For him it was at the reception when he could finally sit back and thank God that everything went off without a hitch. Standing next to each other as husband and wife, we felt indescribable joy, contentment and gratitude towards God and our amazing friends and family who played pivotal roles in getting us to that beautiful moment.
Some of our closest friends sang worship songs we specifically choose for our special day , they rehearsed for weeks in order to perform at their best. Finally hearing them sing was a beautiful moment for us .
We headed off to the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. We stayed at the lovely Cathedral Peak hotel. It was the perfect choice for relaxation and spending time in nature. We then made our way down to Fordoun hotel and Spa in the Midlands. The food and service at both hotels were absolutely superb. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.
On our way back we stopped of at the Nelson Mandela Capture sight. The experience meant a lot to us.

Our lives were rapidly changing. Moving to another country, new position at work, merging two households into one space. It was a tall order. I have to honestly confess I did not keep up with my normal beauty regime and I certainly did not do all the beauty tricks and hacks I had pinned on Pintrest the moment I knew I was getting married.
I am blessed to have 2 very good friends who are both dentists and married to each other. Dr Mansoor Mohamed and his wife Dr Andrea Mohamed made sure my smile was perfect.They fit me into their schedules at the most odd hours as I was juggling a lot at the time .
I will be forever grateful to them and actually cant wait for my next appointment .

Our service was presided over by a pastor from the church where we met, Pastor Owen Wozhele. Pastor Wozhele is a very good friend of ours as well and it was really special to have him share a message on Covenants versus Contracts on our wedding day.
After a long search for the perfect photographer we were elated that Christiaan from Christiaan David Photography was available for our big day.
